6.2 came from Bow NH PD

2011 only had the 6.2 billy, 2012 has the 3.6 as an option. But wikapidia says there was a 3.6 in the caprice in 2011 as an import?

My understanding is they were standard with v6, optional v8, and all are imported.

That's a steal for that price. 117k is nothing as long as it's taken care of. Hell, a lot of our 18-20 year old B bodies have that kinda mileage, but that's fine. I'd paint it DGGM, lose the spotlight, and get full wheel covers.

Insurance company's consider any water in the car a flood car. But if it had a couple inches on the floor, a little work and you'll have a good vehicle.

With that low of mileage plus the model year of it, what the hell was going on? Custom exhaust added by previous owner, 708 miles on the car, flood car, hydrolocked? Was it sitting around for 3 years and sold to the public where it was then driven into a washout by its owner on the way home from the exhaust shop? Or did it get flooded out when new and sold at auction 3 years ago, but ran, then something else happened to it? Whole thing sounds fishy.

It was auctioned by Copart in July. Could have been held by insurance for a few years?

The other part that would suck with that car is since it has been reported as a flood car, and all the warranty in null and void.
