Matt "1984twodoor" if you don't have one, don't let this slip by you. And there would be no shipping for you.

Not CL, but I was at Hollands today looking for a headlight harness for the Impala SS (no luck), and noticed that there was a 2000+ Bonneville SSEi with a tan leather interior there. The seats were in pretty good shape, the usual dirt in the wrinkles of the drivers seat from them not being cleaned and some slight mold growing on the driver's seatback bolster. No rips that I saw as I glanced. Anyway, I remember a discussion of what seats will fit B's and someone had done the Wimpala leather seats in an SS, so maybe these seats fit too?

That skirted Caprice that had been there was gone, but there was another skirted Caprice in there now, dark blue/blue interior, Ford Police Interceptor badge on the trunk, LOL, but it had a car on the roof. Also saw a 1984 Olds 98 Regency coupe in there. The car would have had everything going for it, black, with red pinstripe, dark red leather interior. looked straight and solid for the most part, but the sticker said 1997 and it clearly had sat in the woods under pine trees since then. There were pine cones in it, and animals seemed to have gotten in the car too.

The Roadmaster that Brian got his blue leather seat from was still there, that car has a pretty clean interior and it's still basically complete aside from driver's door panel and the missing seat. The climate controls are in it.

Idk, thats pretty much retail. Those BFG's are like 130 each and the rallys are about 90+ each depending on brand. And those caps are $35 each.

Why would you pay retail for "used" parts? Wink It's all about the deal.

That is a high price, but they are at least worth about 700 bucks as a set if the tires are actually "brand new". As soon as they roll out of the store they're not worth brand new anymore though lol.

The days of the reasonably priced BFG are long gone as of a few years ago, like BFGs or not, lol. I 'amembah you could get the damned things anywhere for like 70 frigging dollars! WTF! No more Firehawks either!

What are those iron heads worth anyway? I've always heard both types of heads were good in their own ways for different purposes, iron was better low end torque and the alum. was better for top end HP?

What I remember is...

Iron was the best when stock..
Aluminum when ported etc..
Based on flow.

5.3 V8 pulled from 2003 Yukon, 155k, runs great, complete with alternator, steering pump, starter, flex plate, brackets, etc. @95 is a cheap price for a good running 5.3. Fits many years of GM models of Silverado, Sierra, Yukon, Tahoe. trade possible. Email or call 207-672-9269 Leo

Somebody needs to buy this!
