Thanks man, it's a great car so far. Stumbling issue was bad gas. Interior is mint, dash pad looks brand new.

You can still see the big oil stain on the hood in the paint, lol. It's kind of a nice car but that's a lot of money...that person should keep it for what they probably paid for the thing and just drive it.

Had to have either been a fire chief's car, or a taxi cab. Appears to be a 9c1...

I like it because it's the exact same color scheme as the '72 Chevelle Malibu that my mom had brand new lol. My grandmother was driving it when I was a toddler but I still remember it well.

It seems damp inside though. Those cars get water leaks WITHOUT vinyl tops, so I'd be worried about that. The white vinyl hides the little rust bumps from view, especially in pictures. I'd like to have a second Impala like my other yellow one though to just drive and worry a little less about. I have wheels for it too, lol.

I'm wondering now, if that car is just painted white on top, or if it used to have vinyl. It was rare but you could get a contrasting accent color such as white painted on them to look like a vinyl roof cover.

A friend of mine was about to go look at this a couple months ago, (around the same day I looked at the SS Billy wound up buying), but put it off a day because he was "being lazy" as he put it.  He called to go look at it again the next morning and it was sold.  He was pissed.  Tonight he sent me this. Look at this damned thing.  Rare model year also, 1980 with the square headlamps, older dash with 1981+ style gauges, etc.

He would have gotten a good deal on it also, the bidding now is more than he probably would have gotten it for.  Gotta jump on things!

Yuck! My grandmother had a black and grey one with a manual trans when I was a kid. Traded that and a (my grandfather's (could no longer drive)) MINT GMC Custom Sierra for a red early/mid 90's (?) Mercury Sable wagon. WTF were they thinking....SMH.

The truck as I remember, was a creme/tan color with a white roof and white steelies with GMC dog dish caps. Manual windows, diamond plate running boards, and an (aftermarket) 8 track player with all the knobs missing lol. I always said I wanted that truck, but they didn't listen lol. Jeez. That was 20 years ago maybe?
