I know its far away BUT 1. I have a cousin and a friend that live right in albuquerque 2. Its a New Mexico car WITH title 3. There is no rust cuz its NEW MEXICO (trust me they leave shit from the 50's outside with no winshields and it rains all over them and it barely causes surface rust) 4. Probably about $700 to ship it up here through american transport or a like company and your still in it under a $1000!
If anyone is seriously interested and calls the dude and is serious about buying I will call my ppl out there to go look or to pay the guy up. you can give me the $250 or send a M/O out there to them. you can deal with the shipping guy.s right online I've had caddy's and devilles shipped from all over to here w/ no problems the ship companys online are legit! I also have a friend in phoeonix,AZ that can do the same there too. Idk figured I'd put this out there. I was drooling on a white lowrider out there that they are asking 1/3 what I paid for my current "project" WTF!!! - Ironfistdog wrote:
- OooO this one too, before this thread gets deleted!!! Only a few hrs away in north Jersey! Got a high school buddy liiving there too. http://newjersey.craigslist.org/cto/2163111506.html now picture this with an lt1 swap and a nitrous setup! Could be a serious street/strip car

- Believe me its crossing my mind! I wish I could quit my job and haul cars up here from there for a living. They are poor as hell out there and ask dirt cheap prices. My father bought a 1956 belair hood out there MINT shape...$25.00! I could use it as a parts car if nothing more. I just don't got the shipping $$.
- sdstick wrote:
- All I can add to this is....
The transport companies SUK If you dont get an owner operator DO NOT ship anything worthwhile I found a good 1 when I was shipping my 96 from FLA but that was luck. Next attempt at shipping was a PIA. I used a broker (which most onlines are) & I wasnt comfortable. If you DO manage to piss them off, they'll drop your car off somewhere & tell you sorry. I didnt get to that stage but wanted to. - Ironfistdog wrote:
- I agree, this guy that brought the caddy brougham up from long island was a moron. He put my shitty 500 caddy on the top rack. He had 6 cars total. And would you believe he put a 2009 escalade directly under my dripping trans pan. Caused a huge puddle on the hood of the escalade! Then he couldn't het the doors open on the suv to move it off the truck. .. I had to squeeze up through the bars climb through the window and start the truck for him cuz he was a huge fat black dude. . First and only time I'll ever be in such a nice truck . Its a good thing I had the shit-a-lac and not the brand new escalade. I bet the owner of it had a real bad day! OH and he left a friggen huge puddle of hydraulic fluid on the road in front of the driveway! But I do know a few guys in worcester (not personally) that do the cali run a few times a year for 73-87 c-10's I'd probably go to them to see what they could dig up in california. If you do ship something make sure they are insured and insist on half payment down and balance paid when car is delivered.
- sdstick wrote:
- Seeing as Bills gonna delete this & start fresh, I dont feel bad about assing it up.
Those transport companies have it knocked. They make you to sign off your rights on every possible thing they can do wrong. The bottom loaded caddy was a perfect example. You clearly agree to NOT go after them if that happens....bullshyt! I wish I could run my business like that. Make the customer sign off so ANYTHING I deliver is his with no liability to me. Last time, all I asked was 1) to be top loaded, at the front of the trailer 2) that it would go direct, so it didnt need to be moved for any other stops 3) insurance policy, name & cell of driver I got #3 the rest they agreed to but didnt honor I'm done with that - Cadet57 wrote:
- If I get my southern/West coast wagon. I am NOT going to ship it. I did out the math, and even with gas as high as it is, its actually a tad cheaper for me to take a couple extra days on my vaca and drive it home. I don't care if I throw on an extra 2k or w/e. I've heard too many shipping horror stories.

1996 white with an lt1 doesn't say what the mileage is, has a bad frame. Looking for 1500 but I know the guy and the place, I bet it could be bought for under 1100 cash. Anyone interested in going in together on it? I got 300 if I can grab the interior (not the seats) the inner front fenders, passenger doors and some small odds and ends. That brings it down to 800. Anyone need an lt1 to molest? Or a new 4l60e? Maybe a front or rear end? Its pretty close to me about 2 towns over. Plenty of room here to disassemble or, just let me grab what I need and take the rest with you. Idk a few guys in on this and everyone makes out.

I bought a 95 civi caprice with 97k on it, rusty, leaks oil, runs superb for 300. Keep searching you'll find a better deal out there for your parts needs.

| He actually wants $1500 its a dealership, guy is a crook, I bought my 92 wagon there, was nice and clean there, til I drove it home, intake was pissing coolant, egr valve plugged solid, was surging all over the place, exhaust was basivally draggin after I hit a few bumps and the shitty clamps came loose, gas lines (metal ones that go from nylons to the actual sending unit) were completely f*@ked. I was leaving a trail of gas like yosemite sam w/ a barrel of gunpowder. Had to fix all that stuff just to make it safe for the wife. I was just saying the stuff I need is worth $300 to me. And if it was a low mile motor its gotta be worth at least $500-600 that leaves another 200-300 worth of parts to be bought off to justify the rest. By no means is it worth it to try and drive. I've seen a lot of cheap one this last autumn, just don't have a way to go get them anymore. (Sold the suburban). I AM gonna go down to look it over though. Just incase it is a low mile car.
And that 91 is only good for the door panels, and rear top half of the plastic trims. I'd still need to find dash and other things. 91/92 is the shittiest caprice to steal parts from. Imo. They just didn't get it right till at least 93. (And I'm not talking about the skirts, cuz I like them) I might just save up a little more and go buy a high mile runner for 6-700 and just stock pile all the parts. I just want to start soon so it will be ready to enjoy in the summer. Happens every year, I get involved in the summer and by the time its done its october and I gotta wrap it back up. :-(

Anyone near Manchester? HA! Empire AutoSales is the epitome of a douche bag dealership. shitty sales man, questionable cars....... They've been sued before for selling so called " passed inspection " used cars. It's the type of place that rolls odometers, adds extra heavy oil, puts gum on the exhaust leak, and uses zip ties to hold the bumper on. A friend worked there for a week and left cause how the owner wanted him to f@%&* people over.... stay away! ....... also.... notice the the phone number on the building doesn't match the one in the ad..... .................... it's not even the same area code......... stay away......

It comes with doors and hood. Making it a pretty good multi color sleeper or a good rustoleum paint project car. I like it!

| I saw one of those 4x4 vans at a mud run, didn't turn out so well. Front axle folded when he hit a hard spot! | |

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=180622491274&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:en I've heard tons of bad shit about this guy. "George" used to operate a used car place in Rowley on Route 1 that was notorious for lemons, same on eBay. I wish I could find the reviews under his old ebay account, they were bad. Look at his feedback rating under this name, anyone with a rating of like 98 or under might as well have a 60% rating, and his is a 94 there now. Lately they're always trying to sell POS FWD mid 90s Caddys and B-bodies on craigslist.
