^I've seen that car before in person up close and posted it on here, it was at Amherst and was also on CL. But it wasn't that cheap, the owner must've sold it/traded it to this seller. That's a good price for that one I think...

I went and looked at that last week. Total piece of crap. I'd even think twice about it as a winter beater. Mechanics wire and reflectors everywhere, rust, holes, spray paint... Awful.
But it did run and ac blew cold.

I'd prefer the 66
It's hard to shut out some of the better B's... On one hand an older car is easy to maintain and run, but finding one costs you an arm and a leg... Either because it's turn key or because it will cost just as much to get it in drivable DEPENDABLE condition. On the other hand you have a 91-96 car that is already dependable, not high priced, but has less eye appeal than a classic B. You can cut the 1974-1990 cars out of the equation because those are the WORST looking/appealing in my opinion, along with 1959-1961 *GAG* (1958 is sweet though!)
Owning a 91-96 for me is like dating a girl who's ugly but rich, LOL.

That's nice to know being that 1971-1976 Chevrolets are essentially the same vehicle, except that the 1972 model has a Hitler face...lol
66 is my favorite year too but I'd rather drive a boxy...I think the '74 Sport Coupe Impalas are the best looking out of the 71-76 models personally, regahdless of whether I own one or not.

Its not that I don't like them, I just mean they are on the bottom of the list. 71-73 still have a good looking side profile, even the 74-76 as hardtops and 4 doors are OK....... It's this piece of shit that ruins it for me: the rear side glass makes me wanna hit people,
77-79 look like every other boxy style car of that era 80-85 caprice = worst tail lights! 86-90 are a marked improvement
Again, all my opinion.
I'd rather look at this:
Than this:
ANY day of the week. I miss my 65 4 door hardtop. Wish I never let it go.

I hate the 2 door pillared 74-76 Chevys. I mean, I'd drive a clean one, but the hardtop looks so much better, so I hate the fact that they did that...it's like they forgot to finish what they were doing and rushed it into production. The '74 Sport Coupe is the same as a '73 Custom Coupe, it just has a fastback rear window instead with a longer sail panel. The side glass on my car for the doors doesn't even fit the other coupes...it's for a 73 and older. The 71-73 Sport Coupe had a more sloped rear roofline I don't like as much either. I like the 74-75 Sport Coupe the best (I still laugh when I think of my car being called a Sport-anything).
The 74-76 B-O-P B-bodies have that cool roof I kinda like that has a smaller quarter window that still actually rolls down, then a B-pillar, then a quarter window after it too...
But I'd rather have no roof personally...lol

. Agreed, like the car, not the engine. Well not that 77-79's had anything great either. Carbed Buick 231, Chevy 229, Chevy 265, Chevy 305, Pontiac 301's.

Hate might be too strong of a word, lol. I like to think I appreciate cars for being historic more than because of what certain individuals value them at right now. Think of a "period correct film" being made where every single car was some overpriced muscle car that sold for over 100 grand at a Mecum auction...the movie would be laughable...That being said I still like any full size Chevrolet really, but I like the Sport Coupe ones more because it's almost like a convertible with a broken motor for the top...
Dave, it would be cool if you tried to get that car going, I'm sure you've dealt with rustier and it's probably the simplest vehicle you own...
It sounded like it started up pretty damned good in that video. Mine has never started like that, you have to pump the gas and then keep an eye on it for a sec even when it's warm out...lol.

Who are you kidding you'll buy ten more cars before 2014 and sell nothing!
Glen, AFA the 77-79 two doors go, the impy level doesn't make me go nuts, the caprice front end looks a HELL of a lot better IMO. Luckily that can easily be changed!

Wow at that Omega, about 10 years ago, there was an very original Omega just like that, same year probably, for sale at a cruise night near me. It was all black with low miles on it, tan interior was mint, I think it had original paint too, but it had started to check and age on the top. It appeared to have been found in a garage someplace. It had some sort of nice looking wheels and tires on it, Cragars or something...either way it was pretty damned nice but no one was buying it because it had a 6 cylinder in it. I don't know what ever happened to it but I remember my father, Captain Impluse Buy, thinking about buying it because he thought it would get good gas mileage It was cheap!
At least the door jambs on that Regal are still silver, plus you get to have that ballin'-ass chain steering wheel, meng.

I saw that Malden one the other day, doesn't seem to be in too bad of shape. I lived in Malden and never saw that car before in my life, but I know exactly where it is, and if it's the auto body and not the used car dealer abutting it, that guy is a hardcore Chevy enthusiast, and I'm not talking about Camaros and Montes. He once chased me down on foot 10 years ago in the green Impala, and gave me a whole passenger door for the car that he had in his basement. He's got other old cars stashed away too.
If you google the number though, it comes up as junk car removal. I wonder if someone passed away, and the kids didn't give two shytes about this car and junked it?
