That said, that thing looks pretty minty fresh and the price does seem pretty reasonable if it's rust free If he wanted to speak truth, he should have said Transmission works. For how long, I have no idea, but it is worth the cost of the car, because if it fails it will cost all most that much to fix.

http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/4081872870.html Before or after your land purchase? Who knows. The land fell threw because it needed 30k worth of fill just to put a driveway where the state says it has to go. I guess I know why it is so cheap, and undeveloped after 30 years while the other lots around it have homes on them.

But...but...it's a vette! It has to cost too much for a dirty worn out car that needs an engine!

| So Phyllis mentioned this Fleetwood that she passes every day going to and from work. So after Johnson"s we run to Portsmouth. Until finding it on CL, I had no idea the age, mileage or price. I don't know if this guy is insane, or I am. But I going to have to go ahead, and disagree. The price is insane. But white with tan guts is one of my favorite color combos on luxury vehicles. But this ain't even a brougham. http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/4102528881.html | |

When I saw the front fender damage, I was with you about fixing it, then I saw the rear quarter damage. That thing is totaled. That sedan looks OK, but alot of RMS's are just plain ugly. A few years back I looked at a sedan from NC. The guy brought it to NH. It had one of those 1/2 "Presidential roofs". It hurt my eyes. I refused it at $450. Tom

Tom This is true, and I agree on the roof. I just don't think it works for the lines of the car. I don't like coach roofs in general, except I LOVE them on the 1980-1989 Lincoln Panther platform cars, and the 1977-1984 Coupe Devilles and Phaeton (a la Goodfellas). Otherwise I don't see the point, it's not a convertible! That being said, I still think that car is worth fixing, if it's in super nice shape otherwise. It wouldn't have to be a perfect fix on the quarter, and the car is white...easiest color to hide stuff. lol I wouldn't personally spend a ton of money on it, but it would definitely make a nice driver. It definitely is totaled literally, look at the pics, that's an auto auction place I'm sure. haha.

You're not going to let that escape, right under your nose are you? Might be from California. Ironfistdog has the tranny. Probably can pick them both (new wagon) up on the same weekend, save on Uhaul. He's open to offers.
Let us know how you make out, post pictures.
