| I was going to say something on the car show thread seeing as I was teasing you there. Really wish I couldve made it to the show to see 1st hand & talk to you about it. Pics & post will have to suffice. Lets hear what happened when you got on it going to & from the show. If you find yourself smiling when you talk about it, take a quick pic of that & post it too.... _________________ Steve 96BBB 28K 3.42 Bolt-ons 95BBB 100K 3.73 383 New DD...already broke fixt the 4L60E twice 95 Black WB4 Hole...ee...grail 96 Black WB4 No holes in this 95BBB 189K 3.08 Old DD Stolen...by Matt. | Now we cooking with FIRE, FINALLY got the opti right. She's purring at idle . Roaring at full throttle. Pretty sure i woke some of the dead in the cemetery down the street. Sadly it took three attempts to get it right. Managed to NOT line up the opti/cam pin TWICE. If nothing else i've got the opti swap down to well under an hour Lots of practice. Only big item left to do is get the front end aligned right. | |

| I am thinking that Mark is so elated, thrilled, over joyed, beside himself and most of all BROKE that the only excitement he can afford is with his car. Praying he is not picked up for some unnatural act with his car or in the car! Hard to tell at this point what the man is thinking. I believe we should all chip in a few bucks to purchase him a pair of sand paper mittens?

| Hey Larry. It's on the road kinda. Having some issues with the way it's running.Rough idle. Gonna pull the intake manifold this weekend . I think it's leaking. I actually went thru a phase for about a month where i didn't even want to look at the thing. A little burnt out. | |

| TTT <--- but seriously mega bump! Thanks for the inspiration Mark! I didn't know about this thread. Looks like I'll have to get outside and get going. We were talking about it at Crovo's but what did you end up doing about the body mount holes in the frame? I have some that are the same way. Did you weld the washer over the hole like Jim had mentioned...pages ago ...in this thread? I should get on to doing that as it's one of my next steps | |

| What jim was talking about was the elongated holes for the rear trailing arms. Haven't done anything with that yet . Thanks for reminding me. one more thing i need to get done. I found some extra thick washer the same size as the body mounts that got welded into the holes for front mounts . | |

Oops sorry about that! Well now that the thread has been bumped back up I guess it'll have to get done right? Money shmoney! Who needs it! I'll have to dig out the box with the mounts then and see what the hardware stores have to offer. Hopefully my booger welds hold them in place. | |
