Adding auto dim mirror

I'm thinking about adding the auto dim mirror with map lights from the 94 Roadmaster into the 96 9c1. Has anyone done similar? I cut the harness out of the Buick at the B pillar, along with lighted coat hooks I may add. I always said I'd never do it and add "luxury" items to the car but hey, you only live once.

That connector at the base of the b pillar is plug-n-play. Otherwise pink to ignition or acc power, black to ground, light green to reverse (dimming is disabled in reverse), orange to hot (tap into dome light), blue to ground with door (tap into dome light, sometimes this wire is white on 9C1s).

You know, I never saw any connector at the B pillar so I hastily cut the harness out. Well, I just went back and pulled up the carpet and it's in the *back seat in the big plastic loom. Thanks!

I fixed the harness, put it all back together. Have to locate the connector in the caprice and figure out the dome lamp.

I do have a blazer overhead console and spare headliner with the ticket writing hole in it. Ideas ideas

Shortly after I got my current 9C1, I added the wiring for the auto dimming mirror, but then hacked the mirror end to accommodate the auto dimming mirror that also has the compass and temperature display. Same information that would be on the console display.
