| Glad to see your'e having some fun with the 9C1. That decal is spot on.. love it. Cool to see all the iterations of the grille's on your car.. gives some cool thoughts to customizing the nose of the Caprice. Seeing the OCC grille got me thinking on why Olds never built one of their own sedans?? Guess they thought they had the high end Fleetwood, Roadmaster as premium and Caprice as standard for the classifications. Throw in the Impala, they got a wheel/paint/badge/grille consumer version of the 9C1. Got me thinking on how one of these B bodies would look in Rocket trim?? Keep up the great work on the 9C1. Been fun reading your posts . I too am interested in sequential tails but thought it may be a pain in the ass to do. The HID upgrade I saw you did was a must and its so fantastic to see at nite! I love mine. | |

| Oh he knows about the Sequential being a PITA! Right Brian? Did you ever call the company? I'm not sure why Olds/Pontiac never got a sedan (or wagon for Pontiac) but the OCC didn't sell all that well IIRC so that could have had an impact. The Caprice and Roadmaster though.... Great sales. | |

That sucks Brian, sorry to hear. But better to throw in the towel then hurt yourself right? At least you can say that you did it, and you've got to try everything you want to do once. True to all of that! I would have been digging myself a bigger hole. When I returned from active duty, I never wanted to go to the VA and be labeled a "disabled veteran". I guess it was a pride thing. 3 years later, what I should have attended to years ago, wrecked my career. Alot of my friends who were over there with me, are popping up and getting the help they need instead of ignoring it all. Before I left the department, there were some highlights to include, but are not limited to: I got to see a dead guy, drive a new blacked out 2011 charger(a little above the speed limit), house fires on holidays always suck, helped design the new paint scheme now patrolling the streets, made a few great friends, and issued countless tickets lol. Not to mention it put a magnifying glass on how fucking stupid, people really are. I was told I was already too cynical for the job lol. But, it did set my wife and I back about a month as far as income goes. We should be all set where we are now and our son has, and will have everything he need. Weekly VA trips to R.I. shall continue....

Yea, so, sequential tails are pretty sweet. Definitely a nice touch to any B body. You could go a couple routs and ranges of use from a couple different manufactures.

| So, here's the console. Much thanks to Bill M again. when I get some down time, I have to make a few adjustments, hook up the PRNDL light, and run my aux power outlet harness back under the rubber floor and mount it inside the console itself. And heres my 2nd set of SS wheels. They have snows on them right now, but I'm poor like everyone else and cant get tires right now. They have the red bowtie caps from a monte carlo ss (I think Jim is more excited about those than I am) I finally put the car through the wash today. Its only been since October... | |

| Haven't done much for a while. I ended up in the VA hospital in Providence for almost a week. They thought I could have cancer, then some other things I can t spell, and I think they are settling with a nice disease instead. But, I did get my Flowmaster cat back setup on the day I went in. Much thanks goes to my wife for helping out with the whole shebang. She royally busted her ass to help me out! Gotta make a few adjustments before welding up a few critical points. Also, needless to say. I didnt get the 9C1 in to install the new Z28 springs. The Belltechs came in while I was away too. So, like I said, everything is coming together the way I had it planned. | |

| lol Steve. Thanks everyone. Its been tough. I hadnt eaten in about a month, Ive lost over 10lbs. I went in with a temp of 102.6. But, my spleen is enlarged still, my liver enzymes are almost double what they are supposed to be, and a bunch of other things that point to some kind of infection, they just couldn't figure it out with the CT scan, x rays, and the 50 gallon drum worth of blood they stole from me. So, hopefully I have an answer this week. Ive got my money on some kind of tick born disease. They say its not Lyme, but its in the family. I did hit some road kill and with the 9C1 being so low, theres blood on the drivers pipe and the muffler got knocked back off the clamp = major exhaust leak. Sounds sweet tho | |

If it makes you feel any better I got food poisoning in Ireland like a month ago and lost 15 lbs after all was said and done. And will likely never eat at TGI Fridays ever again.
