Thanks Ted. How's the progress with your Caprice? Did you start a thread? If not, you should do so.

| Primer is fine. Its work in progress and shows others you are interested in your car. Unlike honda owners that run them into the ground and sell em for 300 bucks... | |

| I see where we are going with this. I dont think theyd fit anymay. I was just looking for a little originality with the modded olds grill, 2nd to the one Tim got from me a while ago. Not that its a bad thing, but everyone has the SS grill. Theres only 2 types of Caprice grills to choose from and it looks as tho the Roadmaster grill wont fit with a caprice stock bumper. Does anybody want an OCC grill emblem BTW??? | |

| Can always make a custom grille! I agree on the ss grille And the original ones are plain Jane. The olds you don't really see to often. It's a breath of fresh air to the norm..... And you know me and normal lmao! | |

| Nothing too much to update. I tried a '91/'92 grill I picked at the yard last week to contrast from the black paint and tinted euros. I kinda like it. The new trunk lid is almost done, and the new center console and shifter are going in next week. I purchased a few odds and ends on eBay today as well. Still have to JB weld my armrest back on...next $$$ items in line are tints...again, and exhaust. | |

| I like what you did with the OCC grille, but I like that Caprice one a little bit more. I still have that one I grabbed from you that time, need to redrill the mount holes and swap it on my car for a change I think. I believe I am painting my SS grille white in the springtime. | |

Goes well with the LTZ badge Thanks guys. Matt, he LTZ badge was a freebie I traded 3 hubcaps for awhile back, and then last week I scored a second one for 20 bucks from a friend who was parting out a destroyed B4U. Seeing the eBay prices for LTZ badges, I feel lucky Matt T, I forgot about that grill, does it say CHEVROLET on it or no? The SS grills look good painted to match white B's.

| Well, with that being said, I do plan to paint the outer portion of a stock grill and leaving the center chrome. something like this Almost every painted OEM one I see, its the center portion painted. Thats how the original one came from the police department. Im not sure what they were thinking. When I bought the car, I painted the all of it and left the CHEVROLET chrome. If you really want a 9C1, Ive got my eye on one for you. A good friend of mine has a '95 that was a statie for the airport. He just had the engine rebuilt, along with tons of other stuff. Its no show winner, but if his wife makes him sell it, I'll let you know first. | |

| I hear you. It'll work out in time. Its unnecessary experience, but now you are building a badass car and making it better. It wouldnt be for sometime. So, if he does sell it, I'll be the first to know, and I'll pass it on to you. You could start a 9C1 fund lol. Might not be a bad idea. | |

| Again, nothing too important to update. I installed HID kits in both cars. They look and work awesome. Easy to install. Easier if you take the headlight assemblies out first. I am in the midst of installing a "custom" third brake light. Its more of an upgrade mod than anything custom. Trunk lid STILL is not finished... and a nice machined throttle body cover came in the mail today too. i will be ordering a new style sequential kit due to the lack of functionality i got from the crap Streettrends harness. Does anyone know where to get blue bulbs for the climate control knobs? I modded the knobs by taking the rubbery cover coating off of them so they light up completely. I'd like the knobs to match my kenwood radio. | |

| Another small update. The 9C1 is less SS wheels now, sitting on N97's. Kinda disappointing that I did that... oh well. I will be putting on the shaved trunk lid shortly and installing the center console shifter. Also, Im gonna give another go at these ridiculous sequential tail lights again. Ive been planning whats in the pics below for maybe 2 years. I just recently got an edge on it and its all hooked up ready to go. It works great minus a dead battery. Its gotta be mounted still. Im also in the process of doing a "custom" rear tray for it too with a little help from Indigo. Ive seen it done in a spoiler, which is where I was going with it, but gave it up cuz this guy doesnt know how to use fiberglass. | |

Thanks. Maybe sometime soon, we can do a spoiler one on the gold l99 since the spoiler has to be repainted anyway.
