front brakes

I just picked up a set of centerline wheels for my car that are 15x8....but they are also the larger 5x5 bolt patern.

I have 5x5 axles in the rear because I have a late model rear end, but i am still 5x4.75 up front.

I was going to change the spindles up front to the big boy 5x5's....but I was curious what there are for factory brake upgrades in the front. Did any of these cars come with better front brakes then others that I should look for? Any have aluminum calipers or something fancy?

stock B-body has a 12" rotor

I am almost 100% sure that a set of 91-96 caprice or 1500 truck 12" rotors. The calipers should be the same.

Boxies run 11" rotors.
1le rotors are 11.86" with boxy bolt pattern.
91+ b-bodies run 12" rotors with 5x5 pattern.
Next step up is the sealed hub with vette brakes which are something like 13" rotors but require a slightly clearanced caliper and SS wheels as a minimum. These come in 5x5 if you get them from kore
