| after my failed adventure to pick up a low mile 95 9c1 I decided to stick to my guns and look for a 86-90 caprice. After weeks of scouring the internet I came up with this 98,000 mile 89 caprice in rhode island for 1500 bucks.. ZERO rust and rot... must have been garaged most of its life when I picked it up, blocked fuel filter and everything!  buffed it up and installed some dog dishes after base/clearing the wheels black..put 2500watts of radio goodness in too.  looking sharp!!  did the open element deal underhood, the tbi is loud now!  went to get new sway bars off an ad on craigslist... ended up being matt tracker from this forum!! small world huh?  these outa help the old boat..  | |

| LOL, nice meeting you the other day Paul! Did you get a picture of that weird guy on the Hoverround that accosted us out of nowhere?  That car looks sauce'm with the dog dish hubcaps on it going down the road, for sure. Seeing it makes me want to buy a boxy. | |

| no moa, the guy ended up emailing me the night before I was going on my adventure and decides to tell me the tranny is acting up... plans made, hotel booked and time taken off from work... ended up going anyway because we had all kinds of touristy stuff planned... what kind of dealer doesnt test drive his damn cars!! sent him a deposit and everything! I truly love the boxy caprices more so it kinda worked out anyway | |
