Picked up a used tranny from a 94 wagon today w/80K. Guy was asking $200 offered him $140. I came home with it. Figured with two of these wagons, it wouldn't hurt to have an extra, well, two extras. Like I have said, along with being a wagon or a B or D owner, we also have the gene for being a packrat. Ask me, Bill C., Bill M, JaySS, Pooge, Mark Ross and every other guy who has these cars.

Smart move. Can not have enough 4L60Es lying around. I currently have 5, 4 of them are broken.

I even have a box of spare optis, harnesses, coils, injectors, throttle bodys, wires, water pumps, drive belts, and more.

Almost worth haveing a spare car around too. Arrow

I don't know if I'm proud or ashamed of it, but I have a whole wagon that I stripped in my cellar neatly put away. You guys would understand, everyone else thinks, what's wrong with this guy.

Just talk to a boxy two door lover Shocked

If I see boxy parts and especially two door specific parts I jump at them. I want them no matter what. I have plenty of spare parts and parts i want to use and a motor/trans to be rebuilt...good start for a kid i think

In about 5 or 10 years I'll probably have a collection equal to two full cars and ill have the 87 done and have anything i need for it if it breaks.

The trick is to buy one really good part instead of a dozen cheap ones. That's why I'd rather a nice old stock th400 or a monster build 200-4r over any 4l60e.

I do see the reasoning behind hording trim and interior stuff though. It's impossible to find some of those little plastic pieces.

Especially on a two door boxy, or your lesabre. Anything out of the ordinary or harder to find.
