I'm driving the piss out of the '74 tonight and tomorrow since it will probably have to be put away (and hadn't been run since Hurricane Sandy happened), with the snow coming in the next few days here. I want the underneath to stay like this:

And not wind up like this:

Buy a gallon and it might do it. I used 2 spray cans last night and just did the inside if the body rails, and the front mounts. It soaks into thos spots you can't see and protects them.

Thanks to Tom, for the doors, and the jump start for my truck. Got them set on, need to do some latch work, and the B post needs more pulling, but they will work awesome!
Thank you sir.

Man, I wonder if that stuff could delay the rust problem in the trunklid on my car, lol. I'll have to get some from either that website or somewhere else.
Glen how does it feel finding doors already the right color? I've been in that situation before, lol

The "B" post is still off about a 1/8 (after pulling it out 1 inch) and as much as i adjust the rear door is tight, going to have it it check on the pulling rack in the spring, for now they open and close ok.

It's coming along Glen, those doors came out nice!
I'd bet you could get some of the dirt out of those OCC seats too. Buy one of those carpet extractor things, or maybe blast them with a hose and let them dry inside if you have a heated spot to do so? I did that once, but it was also almost 100 degrees out so I let them dry in the sun with no problems...lol. Tuff Stuff works pretty good and I've heard that "Scrubbing Bubbles" does also, foaming bathroom cleaner crap.

Yes tom they should work great. Had to replace the latch, i got the door on and closed it and couldn't get it unhooked like when we took it off. lol .
I'm going to try some cleaner and scrub the seats matt, then if that doesn't work i'll have them done. You can see in the pic, the pass seat is torn up high, he used to carry lumber in this car, and put the boards between the seats and out the back window. lol
I still need to find a rear seat (cloth that color) and the floor mat is trashed, i just cleaned it and put it back in. Need room in the garage for the OCC tear down, and TA work.

That said, the TBI wagon bench is smaller than an LT1 bench.

The rear occ wagon seats won't fit in a sedan, totally different back. The way it's made and attached.
This wagon has the 60/40 fits perfect on the manual rails.

Correct. Thou, there might be enough material to skin them onto LT1 frames if you want them to match.

Read that wrong, lol I took the 60-40 From the 91 olds and put it in the 95 9c1. The rear seat won't fit, and it's doubtful the cover would fit a sedan rear, it's about 2 inches narrower than the sedan

OOH ok. I gotcha now. Yeah, I saw the front bench installed. I was just confused when you were talking about the rear seat then.
You start parting the rest of the OCC yet? I've added to my shopping list.

Removed the radiator, condensor. The raditor top cover was tilted upwords bad, and i couldn't figure out why, till i removed it, the core support is push in on the bottom about 2 inches, and the tranny cooler is twisted. Funny i didn't see it against the black radiator. So a 5ft prybar later, its back within and 1/2 inch, but can't move it anymore with the prybar. Going to hook a comalong to it and see if i can pull it back. Then radiator didn't like it, as it is bowed up on the bottom, but i only have 5 radiators, so i think i'm good there. lol

To clean the seats, spray with any upholstry cleaner and scrub with clean terry towels. Keep spraying and scrubbing til they are clean. Can't hurt to have a bucket of hot water and a soft nylon bristle brush to scrub with in combination of spraying the cleaner and then use the towels after.
