| What tire do you have on? I used 235-75-15 snows & it loved the snow I used those because I had them off a truck & they were still real meaty If I was buying...I'd go skinny...er | |

| It's already got a lift kit. Sedans aren't as good in the snow as the wagons. Put a few bags of sand in the trunk and it'll help a lot. | |

| Hey, stop making fun of my jacked up caprice mud buggy. If I hadn't sold all that Hotchkis stuff (kicking dirt, swearing at myself) it'd be lower. Lol | |

| When I bought the white Caprice, I put 4 Dunlop SP 60s on it. I don't think they make them anymore, they were a whitewall so I got them. They were 215/75-15.
I also put 3-4 of those Quikrete sand tubes in the trunk, and would keep the tank full if it was going to snow.
The car was absolutely great in the snow, it was nuts. I'm sure certain cars would be better of course but I was surprised. This was with an open diff 2.56 too...maybe the tall gears helped keep the tires from spinning while taking off?

| The tires on it are good snows, it's just so light in the rear, and has a lot of punch it likes to be sideways. | |

I've found the black Tahoe is a lot crappier in the snow than my old truck was...I think the Tahoe likes to break the tires loose too easily, along with the stupid gas pedal being like one in the Corolla I drove in driver's ed...

| Thanks tim. I finally took it for a spin (literally). I took out the ram air tube, and just made a sewer pipe with the cone air filter just temporarily. The car is stupid fast, Line lock works very well. Car will need shocks, and i probably will replace the a arm bushings, they are toast. Rides ruff, need a temp guage also, the cluster one isn't working. | |
