| I made it back to the track yesterday for the test and tune. The only changes I made were in the tune....mechanically, everything was identical to the last trip. The weather was almost identical with a very slight headwind. I got 5 runs in, just like last time....and almost all around the same time of day. My best pass out of the five runs two weeks ago (5-4-13) was: 1.930 - 8.411@84.25 - 13.124@103.87My best pass yesterday (5-18-13) was: 1.930 - 8.386@84.43 - 13.038@105.47It was a little discouraging only because I kept running 13.0 back to back and couldnt dip into the 12s....but regardless, it was a gain which means my tune is heading in the right direction. I was definatley making more power on the big end judging by the ET and MPH, but I need to work on the 1/8 mile and getting the car snappier out of the hole. I did however catch a little sunlight under that left front tire on a few passes I drove the car to and from the track again without incident (filling the tank with fuel before I left). I am going to keep going on motor for a little while before I spray it....I am determined to get this thing consistently into the 12s. Anyways...here are a few pictures In-Car video: | |

| Finally!!!! Machinist finished my new motor plates (for resale), so I have my original back and plan on putting the car back together tomorrow. I fabricated a set of Caliper brackets which are still at the machine shop getting finishing touches right now. They utilize dual S10 aluminum calipers per axle with factory SS rear rotors (i will explain why at a later time). I am going to stuff the rear under the car with the drum brakes for now and go beat the hell out of it tomorrow. 5.3 may have a deposit by the weekend. If so, its coming out, and the 6.0L is going in until its sold. I also want to spray the shit out of a 4.8 before the seasons over. Stay tuned for some awesome numbers, or broken parts. Whichever comes first haha. | |

| Car is back in action....but not for long LOL
I drove it around this weekend, as well as to work today....not going to lie....the gear killed it lol. I played with the timing and fuel and got 75% of it back, but that was kinda to be expected.
I am going to enjoy it through the week, but come Saturday, the motors getting pulled...and off to paint we go before the new power plant gets dropped in.
I am still optimistic that I will have at least one solid run before the end of the year (hopefully quick enough to get the friendly boot from the track).

I am going through East Coast Customs in Springfield.
Base/Clear/ Pearl and all the body work, out the door.
His crew is moving pretty quick, and they seem to pay pretty close attention to detail.

I'm stripping the car before it goes anyway. No trim, door handles etc.

| Long block is cleaned up, painted and just about ready to go! Only thing holding me up at the moment is the cam from Comp!! Block has been stripped and painted, new LS9 Springs installed, I have a new LS2 timing chain...very conservative build....but should make significant more steam then the 5.3. | |

Yea, the color is a Subaru color called Satin White Pearl. It looks really nice. The engine did come out very good as well. I used the VHT Engine Metallics (burnt copper I believe)The cam is installed, valve springs are done...the motor is basically good to go once I slap the intake and pan on it.

Kinda Frankenstein....but the important part is it is a 70mm compressor side. Not huge...but neither is my motor....should compliment each other nicely on the street. Car is all done, cleared and buffed. Body shop has a few loose ends to button up, but it looks amazing....I can't get a pic that does it justice!

It's Duplicolor "Cast Aluminum" engine paint. I use there whole line of engine paints for a lot of projects. This was an LY6 I did not too long ago: ___________________________________________________________________________________ I ordered the intercooler and charge pipe kit today. I really wanted to avoid the ebay-special....however there are to many variables with the cold-side piping, and I think it is going to be changed fairly quick...so it should be good enough to get me up and running. Here is the intercooler I ordered: http://www.ebay.com/itm/CXRacing-Universal-Bar-Plate-3-Inlet-Outlet-One-Side-Turbo-Intercooler-31x12x3-/330708962190?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4cffca4b8e&vxp=mtr
