Federal emissions label? ***FOUND!

Looking for info on how to get a new one for my 96. Can I go to a dealer and give them my VIN? Since the car was sold to California from the factory, is there any differences or all the same label? Thanks.

www.classicindustries.com probably has one for you. I believe I've seen them in there before.

After a ridiculous amount of research and fact checking, I was finally able to locate a NOS label for the 9C1. I got it UPS today. I'm not sure what possessed someone to try pealing it off, but now I've got the fix! It was a challenge as my 96 has an RPO for exemption and CA emissions. There are quite a few different options. I'm 100% sure this is the proper label.

While getting any replacement labels these days can be a challenge, I'm not sure there was anything unique about the CAC designation on the '96. I simply asked the for the ones that were correct for a Massachusetts-delivered car and this is what I got:



(Purchased two of the '96 domestic labels at different times, one set came through reversed from the other.)

Aahhh yes,...flashing back.....to the great sticker/label debate of 2013, 6th annual roundup...
