| I recharged my ac....and now the compressor is going nuts. Cycling on and off every few seconds. I know that it makes a metallic noise when "engaged." Is it shot? I was trying to be proactive for summer, now I'm thinking what else?!

| Maybe you didn't charge it enough OR you have a leak and your charge is gone already. | |

Yes to both. Sure sounds like a low charge. Do you have gauges or know anybody with some, so you can watch the pressures? | |

| Added more charge, now it's working! Not that we need it now, but soon. Thanks. The battle station is just about operational.

| Good to know Just got my lesson on charging AC's today Seems my manhandling of the compressors & lines may have allowed our 2 DD's to lose charge Will try this myself ......maybe this weekend | |

| I went out last night and put more charge in, and it was blowing cold, although hardly the time when I needed it. Hopefully it lasts. If you need recharge Target actually had a better price than autozone. 14oz for ~$26buck comes with the gauge. 11 for 12oz if you already have the gauge. I did three cars yesterday. Bring the heat, the beach wagon awaits. Anybody have tips on getting a hitch? Deals? Tales of wonder. I want to get one. | |

| Well, the hooking up part is easy. Get yourself some tall gears and sticky drag tires. You should be good | |
