| Spent some hours messing around the Impala today. Something about having a few moments alone, peace and quiet just doing stuff to the car. Today it was 40 and windy, but sun was out, so off came the winter wheels & tires. Three months of 4 snow tires at full roar!!! I jumped the gun and pulled them off as I am cranking some miles daily. Driving this car full time has been a real pleasure as the heft mixed with some good grunt makes it a real joy.
After putting on the stock wheels with the new Michelin's, I had to go for a ride, and it was grippy, slippy when I punt it out from a stop and smooooth. Some point I got to get the wheels redone - crappy clears on these wheels make them prone to wrong detergents and other chemicals throughout the years.
Then, I decided to add the clear euro side marker lamps to compliment the clear Street Trends I bought last year. I dont really care for them, but the factory ones were holding moisture and water.. so they were just sitting in the box, add the amber lamps.. done in two seconds. Come summer, I may go with another set of factory corners.
Washed and waxed. Ready for spring.. and if the snow flies.. I dont care.. at this point, I'd say we all snuck out of this winter. we got the mulligan from 88 inches last year!
Some pics...
Click link: Apparently after two hosting sites and trying every which way to Sunday to post a few simple pics, its the golden tard award for me. Would be nice if it worked here, but the host image button, insert image button and url button seem to all want to beng me over tonite.

| I keep all of mine registered year round. I can't take the 9C1 out just yet, not even close to being done. | |

| Lookin' good! Looks like my 9C1 still aint leavin' the driveway just yet. Atleast, with the weather. I hate New England, but on the other hand, it keeps our favorite cars at a low annual mileage | |

| With the snow we will be getting, I just might throw my 2 sand tubes in the trunk of the Caprice and drive that, it needs to be washed BADLY for my standards and I don't want to get anything on the Tahoe because it's black, pretty clean and looks nice. | |
