| I always have crazy ideas about V8's in fwd cars they didnt go in. Originally, last year I wanted to put that same V8 in a 1991 Cutlass I had. This swap is pretty straight forward.... I think. I am also going to be putting an LT1 in my Caprice when the warm weather comes. | |

| Find a pontiac fiero, and a cadillac. And put the caddy drivetrain in the fiero. |

| That has been done hundreds of times. How many FWD Oldsmobile 88's are out there running a V8 under the hood? Plus, I don't like the fiero. I prefer full size sedans. | |

| That is your opinion.
You won't be saying that when I post tire roasting V8 sounding videos with it.
Sorry, I like to do things out of the ordinary.

LOL I'm not sure I won't be. It's an interesting idea for sure.... Just not sure if it's worth all the trouble.

| It's probably not. But I've had the idea to put that V8 engine in something that originally came with a V6 for over a year. And I just realized the deville and my 88 are the same car. Perfect match. I love V8 engine torque and exhaust note. I love my 88 but it does not have balls. The more practical swap would be a supercharged L67. But no V6 engine can recreate a V8 exhaust note.
This but coming from the rear of my Oldsmobile.

| You'r going to be sorely suprised when your done. The problem with decent power at the front wheels comes from the torque-steer issue.
You want to really see a cool outside of the box car then go look up the SC3.8 Cavalier that someone on the j-body forum built. It needed a whole front clip custom built to keep the engine from ripping out the motor mounts. Seemed that the engine wanted to rotate alot more than the car wanted to hold it.
