| No, this is not a pyramid scheme....
So, I think I mentioned to some of you guys at the mod day that I came across an 84 Grand National parts car late one night on Craigslist. It was completely rotted and really only good for the running gear...I looked at it, offered $300 and put $100 down on it. Two weeks later I went and picked it up and parked it on my building lot, assuming that I would part it out later this fall after I built my garage and make a few bucks...
Well, 2 days ago I was up late once again and came across two different ads for guys looking for parts Grand Nationals...
I responded to one ad saying what I had and that I had seen another...turns out it is the guy from Mass who buys up just about every GN parts car in a 500 mile radius and parts them out...he is THE GN parts guy...well he showed up today and gave me a cool $1500 for the Grand National. He said he will likely make a solid $2000 profit on parting it out, but I was just happy to have made some money without the work of parting it out myself...
That my friends is one of the few ways being an insomniac can pay off!
Needless to say, I am in the market for another IMPALA parts car, let me know if anyone sees anything pop up!

| Me too, There where no pics on craigslist, so I was hoping that I would go look at it and be this awesome "barn find" that I could restore and pimp around in...but alas that was not he case... I always have my eyes open for another one...

I don't need the competition, but I must say, I finally bought one last fall and I have paid for it a couple times over in how useful it has been and the fact that I can just hook it up after work and make a fast deal on something like that GN! Doug | |

Was it Dan from andover??? I can't recall his name, but I am pretty sure it was not Dan, he is from the North Hampton area if I recall... says he just basically parts out GNs full time instead of a "real job"...boy would I love to do that with Impalas.... Doug - UberWagon wrote:
