when i put the 20s on the tires would sit against the inner wheel wells
when aired out.
ive always liked the look of smooth trailer fenders.
so heres my quest to make some room.

a couple of shots before the work begins.

what a cute couple...

mark and trim, fit pretty good after the first cut.

tacked it in a few places and test fit for clearance.

both sides done.

bracket i had to make to mount the msd.
will have to be redone when i install the a/c.

had to make another bracket for the rest of the stuff.

a good shot of the pass. side all back together.
still need to drill one hole and then paint the firewall brckt.

99% done, for now.
over the winter im going to lengthen all the wires on both sides
and they will go inside the fenders for a nice clean look.

Amazing how quick metal rusts when it's uncoated. Looks nice painted the body color. Just make sure you go slow down dirt roads since the engine is so expossed with those fenders.
