| So it looks dead here, so I can only assume many without power or just cleaning up. We got 2.5-3". How much did you get. Never lost power, but it flickered 3 times. Did have to go out about once an hour to clean the snow off the satalite dish. |

| A bunch of tree limbs fell all around my house, and the lights flickered a few times like yours but nothing major. At first it seemed like it was going to be a bad scene though. Looks like we got 4 or 5 inches of slushy snow. | |

| In Canterbury we got about 18 inches.
It's now about four with the melting. Put the Snow Blower on the tractor in record time.
Drove home from Manchester last night and it took me over an hour. The power flashes were amazing. It was like you see in the tornado videos. Bright white flashes in the distance then the area near the flash goes dark. Then it flashes again the lights come back on and then flashes and they go out. Trees down in the road or leaning into the road.
I didn't get out unscathed though. I now need to find a grill and a header panel for my Lincoln. A tree branch fell in the road and I ended up going through it at 20 mph. Didn't even see it until it was too late. It was at headlight height and I got lucky that it only broke the grill and not the headlights. Soo glad I have a winter beater.

Aren't we all! 18 inches beats the shit out of anyone around me! Glad it has gone down substantially. Good luck with the Lincoln parts. I'll keep my eye at if I go to any JYs before you find em!

| 60HRs & counting Lost Sat night around 10PM Went to work 1/2 day yesterday & came home to rebuild the carb on the generator. It started hunting & I wanted to get it back up 100% in the warm daylight. Kids have had 2 days off from school. Dont feel right leaving them with a running generator although Matt has it down now. This generator was new in 1999 & has been working it's ballz off so far (only 3800W). Not really roughing it tho....compared to the neighbors (some have relocated for now) Natl Grid rep said they have no idea when we'll be back up Someone said late Thurday. Think I may set the house up with a big dog generator after this.... THAT should ensure this never happens again. _________________ Steve 96BBB 28K 3.42 Bolt-ons 95BBB 100K 3.73 383 New DD...already broke fixt the 4L60E twice 95 Black WB4 Hole...ee...grail 96 Black WB4 No holes in this 95BBB 189K 3.08 Old DD Stolen...by Matt. | slushy mess on the grass but nothing stuck on the streets. I never lost power but was ready with a generator. The last storm killed my power for over three days. Went out to springfield to pick my mother in law and grandmother. They have no power. Looks like a freakin war zone out there. Tree branches and wires down everywhere. | |

| ...I have 's... National Grid restored my power in just over 76HRS from when the lights went out I'm glad the working conditions were better then usual for them (no -20deg wind blown snowy days/nights) I'd have to give them a high mark for this response as there was a TON of work to be done before flipping the switch. One of the lineman did have a beef with management..something about not being allowed out on Sundays for double time. Good luck with that. _________________ Steve 96BBB 28K 3.42 Bolt-ons 95BBB 100K 3.73 383 New DD...already broke fixt the 4L60E twice 95 Black WB4 Hole...ee...grail 96 Black WB4 No holes in this 95BBB 189K 3.08 Old DD Stolen...by Matt.
