Are the exhaust ports on the lt1 heads different than the ones on the 55-93 350's? I was looking at the sticky for header suggestions, I clicked the link to the ones Crovo suggested and then clicked on application and it was for older buicks and chevy camaro's. I thought the heads were a different configuration. So my question is:
Do you guys buy headers for the impala ss just because of the frame clearance issues or can any older style headers bolt up to an lt1 head?
I'm stuffing an lt1 into a c10 and it's got an enormous amount of room to work with. If I don't have to buy $500 headers I'm not gonna.
