| So these go in like butter, except in my case I guess. How did you guys with experience finesse the AC lines out of the way? Pic make it tough to see, but the #2 runner needs to drop another inch or so to hit the port. Right now as is, its sitting on the inboard AC line. If I bend it down, which seems most logical based on the room I need, that'll screw me on the # 4 runner where the line has to come back up outta that location. Any tips before I go break the line? I know it bends somewhat easy, but I'm not sure what I'm shooting for. | |

| You just need to be more gently forceful in your persuasion tactics. It will move to where it needs to go. And you do have to bend it a LOT more than you think you can!
You may need to get a long pry bar in there to convince it. But BE GENTLE!

| Done. Pain in the ass. May have to fine tune it after theyre mounted when I have something more stable to pry on. Wouldnt of been so bad if I didnt still have a girly right shoulder......ouch.
Thanks BTW, I knew what the answer was just looking for the "magic" tool that makes is eeeeeeeasy.

| Glad you got it! Now... Make sure you split a length of heater hose and put it over the part of the line that is now rubbing or it will eventually wear through it. Ask me how I know... | |

| You mean as it goes over the A arm? I beat that up too. Hopefully no rubbing. Wont know til I drop the car back down. Went to put my 96 up on a lift years back. Had just pulled into the bay, 1st time I ever used this guy. No sooner did he hit the hydraulics to lift the car & that line let go. We looked at each other like WTF. | |

| Yeah, apparently that portion of my thought didn't make it to my fingertips. Oops. Proofreading FTW! | |

| Hey Crovo How tight was that O2 sensor cable? Did you hack the shield or anything? - toomanytoyz wrote:
Anyone ever cut & extend the cable? or see any reason you cant? Just planning ahead. Waiting for some insulation to come it.

| I made a harness to extend the driver's side one, IIRC... I have a spare harness and used 02 if you want the weatherpacks for it. | |

That sounds much better then the Honda Mower Mod Next question...Who buys O2 sensors ? Can an O2 only be confirmed ok w/ a scanner? I know these are OEM w/ 189K on them so good sense says dump em. I just dont know what affect old O2's really have is it mileage only (14 versus 16mpg?) or not so dramatic? I also know they WILL come out easy cuz I have them in my hand for now. Thoughts? Put em in & scan it after I'm up & running?

| Put them in then scan. I think the car will throw a code if the O2's arent in unless you program them out. But I'll let the LT1 guys call me out on that if i'm wrong. | |
