| No headers will pass inspection in Mass. It's an automatic fail on visual since it's a "modification to original exhaust/emissions equipment" If your place doesn't do a full visual then you have a better chance. Not to mention to run these headers you need to make special hookup pipes which would have the front o2's mounted in them. Not a plug and play operation if you want to pass an inspection | |

| What Brad was actually trying to say was that those fit these cars great and with a set of reducers with o2 bungs in them and some quick fab work to hook it up to the pipes and you've got a decent set of headers installed for a few hundred bucks. | |

| Actually what I was trying to say is that it's not a plug and play operation that someone should expect to work perfectly out of the box. But if you want a nice performance upgrade then these are the best headers you'll ever get. Just get reducers with the o2 bungs and then find a place that can make the hookup pipes that run from the reducers to the cats. And hope the inspection guy doesn't look too closely. Remember that Crovo doesn't have to deal with Mass inspections | |

| Actually, if you delete the air pump and all associated tubing and shit, most visual inspections will never notice they are missing. Even in MA. I've had cars registered and inspected with no air, no egr, and headers, with headers, without knowing a guy. | |

Absolutely correct. You'd need to find an inspection Nazi to get bounced for any of those. Also ANY exhaust shop worth going to can hook reducers to cats, just take the flange (or flanges) off the cat & they'll weld it right up Bring it in loose so they can weld BEFORE the final install | |

| Non way to pre-fab those hook-ups Steve. Unless they copy what someone else has done. No way to use the stock cats either. If you want them, use the 60 dollar high-flow bullet ones from summit or the like.
