Didn't your brother get ripped off on a car by him? I seem to recall someone here telling a story like that.

Yep. My brother shouldn't have gotten the car but the guy shouldn't have taken advantage of him either.

Either that or he's already been to the showroom & has sticker shock.
Figures he needs to make up the dough SOMEWHERE.

Thats the sign of a nosy neighbor.
Towns usually dont do much but react to complaints.

Its not my neighbors, we know everyone on the block. Hell, the house to the left of me has a 56 T-bird in their backyard, and the house to the left of me a 77 Seville thats been sitting in their garage for 6 years. Its the city bylaws or some shit like that.

Nobody wants to see a WRECKED car sitting there. Throw a damn plate on the car. I used to have unreg cars all the time nobody said a word. They are not "allowed" here either.

I know, which is why I tucked it on the side of my garage under a tarp and the city gave us shit. Hell they were pissed when the Caprice was in my driveway without plates while I was waiting for the title. Hate this city. Laughing

Blue tarps are unsightly too. Slap a plate on the car no neighbors will say anything they will assume it is registered.

Wilmington lets you have one unregistered vehicle at a time. No more than that though. Either way my caprice is in the tent so no one can see it.

+1. If it is registered they can't say sh!t! Of course you have to show proof of ins. when you go to the DMV. After a few weeks call insurance co. and remove it.

The grill and new mirror somehow didn't make it into the spray booth....cus that would be stupid if it really was JUST painted. Surprised

I like this:

And I saw this on eBay recently. I wish I could find the auction listing to see if it had the "small dent" in the auction pics, and if it actually sold for 3K
