| Before I go any further....I know that threads are useless without pics.... Anyways, I picked up a new ride. Its a Monte Carlo SS (1987 i believe but not positive lol)[i] I grabbed the car from my buddy that runs a junk yard for 800.00 as a rolling chassis (has a tranny but no motor). Car is silver with grey interior and all the ss goodies (console shift, wheels etc). Hes dropping it off tomorow morning. Pics soon to come | |

| I love those cars. I almost bought a white MCSS with blue int and t-tops once, but it was underpowered for my liking, but a nice goodwrench 350, and a gn rearend would have fixed it. |

| I have a tpi 350 from a 91 iroc-z thats going in. I also have another mildly built th350 trans and small stall convertor I am thinking of using as opposed to the anemic 200r4.
My buddy is already trying to trade me his red t-top 95 firebird lol.

My buddy is already trying to trade me his red t-top 95 firebird lol. I think you will find they didn't make an iroc-z in 91, IIRC 86-90 were the only iroc z years?

| Ok... So as I promised before, here are a few quick snaps of the car... The car is actually an '88 SS (not an 87 like I originally thought) It has a 3.73 Posi rear end which is pretty cool. Car was def. repainted the oem color at some point and it will need a little touch up here and there, but overall, for the peanuts I paid, I can not complain one bit. The left front fender had a decent dent in it, but the car came with a good color matched fender to replace it. It has 7x,xxx miles and the car was def. not owned by a hot-rodder (church bumper stickers all over it lol). Cant wait to get this beast all done and cleaned up. Hasnt seen the roads since 2004! | |

| It got a repaint with new decals, aftermarket stereo, mags on the rear, aftermarket exhaust, a replacement spoiler, and a wrecked nose. I'd say the church stickers don't really hide the history as well as you think | |

| The stickers were redone by the body shop They are super cheap computer cut vinyls that are getting taken off. Exhaust is a stock style replacement (not an aftermarket performance brand) Mags were put on by me temporary because my buddy needed the tires (i have the original ss wheels, these are just rollers) And along with the aftermarket cd player came a collection of self-help and marvin gay cds LOL | |

| Who cares who owned it, it's a roller. Drop a motor in that thing and let's see the burnout videos. | |

| It has a couple bubbles on the rear quarters that I am going to fix before I start driving it. (mainly because it is a daily driver and not a drag car).
I think I am actually going to end up painting the whole car quick. It needs a tiny bit of body work, so I figure if im going to address it, I may as well paint the car quick too...
We'll see.... | |
