My new exhaust... Empty
PostSubject: My new exhaust...   My new exhaust... EmptySun May 23, 2010 9:07 pm

So we just about finished my new exhaust system.

We retained the Hedmen long tube headers as there really aren't too many options for this chassis.

The exhaust consists of a 3" Y pipe right off the headers into a single 4" all the way back to a single 4" in 4" out Magnaflow. We didn't have time to finish the tail pipe before the track on Saturday, so we just slapped a turn-down on the muffler for the time being. I gained quite a bit of ground clearance from my previous setup, and the sound is amazing.

Here is a quick video after I pulled out of the driveway. Starts at idle in gear and I start to lay into it in first. The car got loose so I short shifted second and let off....but you get the idea. Car sounds SICK!

I don't want to speak for him, but probably the same reason i did it on my Regal, "stealth factor". One tailpipe is much less noticable Very Happy
