...I thought I would drop a little sneak peak of a project we have been working on at Low Key Auto....
We took notice that there is a slight gap in available forms of delivery for fuel injected cars.
Plain and simple, you can purchase a dry delivery nozzle or a wet "fogger" style nozzle.
The problem with these current delivery system is uneven atomization, hassle of an installation
(requiring addition of 1/8th bungs, or tapping charge pipes), and sloppy line routing to name a few.
Now don't get me wrong, fogger nozzles DO work, and we have several setups on 8/ 9 second cars. HOWEVER, we are always opening the door for easier installation, and more consistent operation.
Here are a few pictures of our newest design...
...This is our prototype wet delivery system which is completely contained.
It is constructed of 1/8" CNC Machined aluminum tubing in sizes available from 2.5-4" diameters.
It has fully machined brass distribution bars, similar to that found on our 500hp Carb Plates! This one tube could support an additional 400hp!
Each unit is hand assembled and welded, followed by a pressure check and are hands down BAD ASS!
Notice the fully machined stand offs which allow direct connection of the solenoids. This means, no solenoid brackets, no additional line routing, and FULL PRESSURE!
These tubes are designed to be clamped inline with your existing cold air intake
units can also be welded and polished to current aluminum cold air intake units. Notice the hand tig welded beads to assure a strong clamping area.
I will bring the prototype setup with solenoids for anyone who may want to check this bad boy at Drag day.
