I just came across this discussion and thought you guys would get a kick out of it. Note how the correct info finally gets put out there and then someone replies with the completely wrong info again.

That's the internet for you, lots of people who have all day to display their massive amounts of automotive knowledge...lol

I had people telling my A/C was never available as an option on my car, that a Monte Carlo was a full size Chevy and on the same platform as mine, that my car would take a 4.75 bolt circle wheel, all kinds of stuff. I know it's not a real popular generation of the car but why do people repeatedly emit incorrect info? Laughing

I've probably made stupid comments online myself though

I could over look that if you have an FBI chip for a 86-87 GN, or a super cop chip from a 94 9C1. You know, the 400hp chip, not the 350hp one. It is too bad the cops took them out. Now the only way to get that kind of power is to get one of those ebay diodes for $9.95 Razz
