Junkyard finds Empty
PostSubject: Junkyard finds   Junkyard finds EmptyMon Aug 03, 2009 10:24 am

This thread can be for stuff we happen to find available at local junkyards. I figure we can keep it going like the Craigslist thread.

To start things off, there was a '93 caprice wagon in white with tan leather interior at my favorite yard last week. There was also a blue wagon that looked to be an early '90's with blue interior. The white car was mostly complete too. If anyone wants to go get stuff from one of them let me know and I'll make sure it's still there.

Junkyard finds Empty

I have the find of the century for wagon guys. The local yard just got in a '95 cappy wagon blue with blue interior. The car is almost mint. The reason for junking it was a broken frame. The interior is flawless and the body is near perfect. The car even smells new and clean inside. They were going to sell it until they saw the frame damage and had to make a note on the car that it wasn't to be sold. I've seen cars in worse shape for $4k in this area.

The only issues on the interior is that the headlight knob is missing (into my car) and the master switch panel on the drivers door is gone.

The exterior issues are the broken frame, cracked front windshield, and the fake wood strips have peeling clearcoat.

If anyone wants to strip some parts you can run down to my place and I'll bring you over to help pull stuff, or I can post up the addy of the place. If I had a blue interior I'd be all over this car, but I've got tan so the parts aren't of much use to me.

Someone needing blue interior parts or wagon stuff please go there so that this car doesn't get crushed full of amazingly new parts.
