Dash (idiot) light question

I know this is in the modifications thread, but I just finished the stealth bolt and bolt II mod and my questions follows that.

My question here is, as I've never actually noticed, does the brake ((!)) light normally come on and "self test" when the key is turned?

I'm certain it won't come on (as a warning) now, as I didnt do a brake job and the fluid level didn't drop. I do have to bleed the brakes still.
