I don't know if it's a red flag (although he is lying about being the second owner). Nothing else in the two descriptions appears contradictory.

I was not privy to any eBay listings. Good heads up tho. Someone should email him the link. I bet we will see "removed by seller" over night.

I hate stupid people.

I just mean the quick flip without covering expenses means somethings up.
Whether they screwed up (son didnt want it..) or found something wrong with it.

That car could probably be fixed seeing that most of the impact was above the frame...it looks like the steering wheel is bent over and I don't know what the deal with the seats is though.  I need a nice driver's backrest...lol

Why would you put in a 4L80 and a gear vendors overdrive?

Double overdrive so you can go 250 mph?

It can't be. I used to work with the guy who was building it. The aluminum driveshaft that was in my SS came out of that car when he went to the turbo 400 and gear vendors unit. He was a cool guy, who LOVED that car, and was custom fabricating EVERYTHING himself in his garage. He was the IT guy in my office for Verizon at Cross Point in Lowell. When this car came up last ime, a couple years ago, I'd wondered what happened to him. Mike something... Hope he's alright.

Almost got it in april was denied because of the owner passing on his name was still in the title back then they wanted 2900 with the amount of faded paint and slight rust thought it might be worth it after all that time sitting and gathering more rust definitely not worth 3500 worst thing was it was non negotiable at 2900 feel it would be the same at 3500. Car looks ok I've seen a lot worse car is not bad but it is not mint everything works but in my opinion price is a little steep.

Yep thats the same one. I stopped in to look at it again-it's 2-3 blocks from my work. The title issue is fixed, car was stuck in probate. He's asking too much for it. Undersides are very clean, but some rust bubbles near the cladding edges-nothing horrible, but there. It's also a very base OCC. 305, 2:56, cloth, basic radio, manual passenger seat. But, interior is very clean too and only 90k on the clock. If it were about 1500 less it'd be in my driveway now. No way a base OCC is worth $3500

Feel the same way Justin if it were going for $1500-1800 would be a different story we would both be trying to get it

Yep, the guy does drive it all over the place. I didn't think it looked bad but I've never seen it right up close. I definitely noticed the PPM color first and foremost...and the wheels...

Few years back my old lady's friends boyfriend told me there was a 91 caprice for sale in providence for $700 and he was gonna go look.
At the time I had no kids so me and my old lady jumped in the car with them and went down to providence. As we are getting close to the address I notice a grey 91 caprice idling in a parking lot a few blocks before the destination, we show up at the address, after dark and like 15 ppl come out of the house. No car there and they barely speak english. They avoided all questions on where the car was or who the owner was. Etc,
To me it seemed they thought this guy was coming alone with $700 cash and they planned to relieve him of said currencies.

Just a quick story to say that not all places/deals should be visited/made alone.

Yup, I'm a big bastard, but you wont find me looking at any car on CL without being well armed, especially if I am going by myself, no matter what state laws I may break.
