| So I did my valve cover gaskets today and that involved removing the alternator....
I was driving down 93 in the tunnel. Gauges started flickering and the whole car was acting funny... put my foot to the floor and nothing. Made it out of the tunnel and off the first exit when it died on a very sharp curve on the off ramp. Great! I immediately realized that I forgot to plug in the connector at the alternator. Luckily, 30 seconds later, some guy drives by with a blown out tire and stops up ahead. Sweet! So I ran over and helped him change his spare. He backed up and gave me a jump and I was back on the road! I've got a damn good AC Delco battery in this thing to make it from Nashua to Boston with no alt... | |

| Like that time my Son and I did the tire rotation and we each ASSumed that the other torqued down the rear wheels on Toms9C1? | |
