| Jim, do want a ford emblem to complete that mod? I may have an extra around. Just kidding. That's gonna look awesome! 'Don't see too many b's with the go rhino. Considering they were made after the b was discontinued. Back when code 3 and setina ruled the market. It makes me consider putting my cali style setina back on, get period correct spotlights and yes, a quarter mount whip, I know. With the rake and all my mods, combined with me not really driving it anymore, its an acceptable look for shows and meets. Kind of a resto mod 9C1 I guess. Did you add the 9C1 aux. fuse box to the SS yet? Gotta have that! | |

| Yup, I realized later it's the wrong bar. Although it could easily work, I traded it tonight for a 9C1 radiator. I'm pretty sure it'll turn up on a b-body soon. Someday I may make my own out of a prisioner cage. I have to rethink everything now that I got all kinds of good stuff from Glen.
I forgot about the aux. fuse panel, that requires a couple extra wires in the engine harness.

| Sorry Jim, It wouldn't fit on either CVs I had, and was a better fit on the caprice so I and the guy I bought it from assumed it was caprice. . I'd have given you the $ back. | |

| Jim, don't forget about the red power junction box between the batt and coolant tank. "stealth" dash lamp kill switch. Mine doesn't work. Not sure why. Chrome strip on trunk lid. Bowtie lock cover. Throw some high mount stop lamps on the back deck. The slot on the doors where cops would store their PR24's. Swap the coin tray for the trunk release button. I've got rear OEM prisoner seat belts with the big grab handle too. Prisoner locks. I'm sure you dont want to go as far as all this stuff, but they were pkg options. OH! And all the damn ground straps! I kept my rears when I swapped the exhaust. | |

| Rear door handle disable is easy, don't even have to pull the panels. I have failed safety inspections with the 9C1s for this. You do have to pull the panels to disable the rear window switches and you need the SEO jumper plug.
I've had enough of having all my rear speaker covers with holes and cracked, thanks. Somewhere I have one trunk flasher light.
Already got the extra ground strap on the engine.
The truck release button is high on the list. The other stuff...

| Nice! I may have to consider one of those. Jim, don't forget about RPO 6H6. I've never seen one personally. I'd do it, but I like my stock 6H7 setup. It's screams 9C1 right away. | |

| The laptop mount isn't installed yet. I have a 7" touch screen monitor that I'd like to use on a car computer/MP3 player. I have some consoles also. I'll try to get some photos up later. They look something like this but with no switches or cup holders. Just the armrest and an empty space. | |

| From what I read yesterday, the 6H6 is the trunk release button is located under the blackout button right side of radio. Dual buttons setup like the E/M and trip on the left side. No yellow button. 6H7 is the standard yellow trunk release near the headlights/dimmer panel found in most 9C1's. I read it yesterday looking to find out why my blackout button doesn't work. Still didn't figure it out.... | |

| Yes, but not the second pic. That's some kind of roadmaster button or something. I read about that, the guy had to cut out where the yellow on was. The first pic is what I was gonna post. Apparently, its a popular mod for the SS. No more opening the glove box to pop the trunk. | |

Probably directed to the immediate DIBS callers Sorry, didn't mean to interfere with anyone's business... I was just kind of amazed when I stumbled upon these switches at Rockauto a while ago, so I thought I'd let you guys know that for whatever strange reason, an aftermarket company is still making them. I wonder if they sold any. Ever. Until today. Weird that they would make replacements for something that wasn't sold in any numbers in the first place... What's next? Green Silicone Hoses from Dorman? Rubber Floors from A1 Cardone? Would make future 9C1-cloning a lot more simple.

I think that would be awesome! I wouldn't clone a 9c1 tho. But a 9c1 reproduction parts line sounds good. It would take away from what little we have and make it not so desirable tho. Like caprice SS name plates. Someone makes them for $30 shipped. 9c1's are still cheap enough, with plenty of bugs for the new owner to really learn a b body from. When they are broken lol. A hard to find part for a 9c1 I'd say, would be the left and right spotlight mounting hardware. I was lucky enough to find mine in the quarters. I've heard from unity, that they didn't make it. That its a GM part exclusively. But, that's what they told me. If someone has more info, that would be great. Any machinist can make them. Same as the rubber c shaped a pillar gasket, a GM part. Got mine from a dealer in WI..........so, who was worrying about an SS again?

GM#10253837 and GM#10253838 for the Mounting Kits, RH and LH respectively. I guess those part numbers went inactive years ago, but it might be a place to start looking.
