| I really tried to stay GM. I swear I did. This may be temporary, but I could not pass it up. It needs one wheel bearing, maybe two, and a little rust repair, but all in all, I am very impressed with it. |

| Mine is a dark hunter green color. I dare anyone to find rust on mine! I have had it since 2009 and only had to replace the plenum gasket once "Is your truck a Dodge? Does it say Magnum on it? If yes to both the plenum is leaking" Mine is already a SLuT Sorry to hijack your thread Billy | |

...... even came with a hook for the doggy Haha! Only problem is he might forget and have one angry puppy when he gets to wherever it is he was going! I wanna guess the rust is at the bottoms of the fenders and the bottoms of doors because of those rust trap running boards.

| Yeah it really does not look all that bad for what I am assuming you paid for it. Sometimes really high mile trucks from less congested traffic areas seem to be the best deal from what I have seen. Keep washing it and it probably won't rot that bad if it still looks that good. Someone seems to have taken reasonable care of the thing! I found a touchless cahh wahhhsh that has the underbody flush jets included in the cheap/base wash, so I know where I'll be going all winter... | |

| That's actually a pretty nice looking truck, Billy! Aside from those GAWD AWFUL running boards! Get rid of those effers quick! Sell em to Dave and get some tube steps if you can't get in afterwards... Good luck with it. I agree, those arent the best looking running boards. They MAY however beat the alternative _________________ Steve 96BBB 28K 3.42 Bolt-ons 95BBB 100K 3.73 383 New DD...already broke fixt the 4L60E twice 95 Black WB4 Hole...ee...grail 96 Black WB4 No holes in this 95BBB 189K 3.08 Old DD Stolen...by Matt. | Nice looking truck Billy, good luck with it.
As far as the miles, I never worry about high mileage. You can tell if a car's been maintained. A truck came into my work today. 2006 Ford F-150. 750,000+ miles. Ran like a top.

| I always loved the look of those trucks, they started the muscular truck look, before every truck looked pretty much the same for about 14 years.
Nice score

| Hey Billy, don't know if you'd be interested but a friend of mine has a set of 20"s off the hemi body style trucks for sale for $600.00- they're up and craigslist in my area now. He had them on his 98 and they looked great
Truck looks nice, my mom had a 97 ext. Cab 4x4 Sport before she bought her 05 hemi, both trucks were great!

I may not even going to do that. I am going to fix the few little things I see wrong with it. It needs a wheel bearing for sure, and maybe a ball joint or two, tie rod maybe, and just drive it. I am in now way in love with this truck. Look for it in the for sale section real soon. I just don't care for it. I am a GM man. I figured it would grow on me, but so far not so much. Don't get me wrong. It is a nice truck, just not my cup of tea. I would prefer a 2wd c1500 gm truck any day. I may even try to trade it for said vehicle once it passes inspection. |
