What should I do = trade wagons or not??

OK so most of you have seen the 1993 Roadmaster wagon on craigslist in my area. The listing says 1495. Today I stopped in on my way home from work to look at the wagon. It is in very good shape. It's got only 80somethingK. 5.7L L05. The paint parts have been repainted recently. Wood is in good shape although they have stripped the woodgrain off the trim that sticks out on the passenger side. Anyways, the dealership is a bodyshop and I mentioned I have a wagon already but it is crashed. The guy asked me how much I want for it. So I asked if he was willing to trade... Now he wants 1495, but what is my wagon worth in it's current state?





The whole car is MINT except for these areas







It does not bother me that it's not an LT1 wagon I just love the RMWs. What would you do? What should I offer him as a deal? I was thinking his wagon and few hundred (2-300) cash for mine?

If you are happy with loosing the LT1 power. I would say try to trade straight across. Then if he wants extra money, offer a couple hundred.

I went and spoke to the actual owner of the car. At first he seemed interested. Then he shot me down and kept saying how he would never find the parts. I assured him I could no problem. He wouldn't budge so I left.
