My sensors are screwed up right now...car runs good but O2s says that it's running rich? I would think it'd be running rough with incorrect or strange reading that are out of normal parameters.

FYI car is OBDII equipped and both rear O2s have *supposed* to have been deleted by Alex @ PCMPerformance.

Bank 1 is driver's side bank with cylinders 1,3,5,7.
Bank 2 is cylinders 2,4,6,8.

Sensor 1 is what should be reading (ideally) at around 0.5 V.

Here's what I was looking at when I pulled the car into the shop.

Bank 1 Sensor 1 - 0.911 V
Bank 1 Sensor 2 - 0.442 V
Bank 2 Sensor 1 - 0.442 V
Bank 2 Sensor 2 - 0.915 V

I thought this was weird and remembered when I installed my headers that bank 2 O2 sensor was difficult to clip and unclip. So I figured I plugged it into sensor 2 when it should be located in sensor 1.

Switched the O2 from sensor 2 to sensor 1 on bank 2 and got this.

Bank 1 Sensor 1 - 0.915 V
Bank 1 Sensor 2 - 0.442 V
Bank 2 Sensor 1 - 0.442 V
Bank 2 Sensor 2 - 0.438 V

I'm pretty confused as to what needs to happen. I guess the way to locate and confirm O2 location is to check for the color wires on the electrical connector and see where they are located in the PCM.

Any guesses anyone?

Trying to figure out what your asking.
So Sensor 2 on both sides should be programmed out so they dont need to be plugged in right?
Seems like that .442 area is correct and a steady .442 sounds like a programming setpoint.
So switch the wires on bank 1 sensors & see if it settles at .4XX?

Doesnt look like color will help

Yes both rear O2s programmed out.

The question is why would the programmer make Bank 1 sensor 2 and Bank 2 sensor 1 a set value? Why'd he make bank 2 sensor 1 a set value where that's the one input on that bank that needs to be operating correctly?

Maybe send alex an email to see what he does when he deletes the rear O2s on a 96?
