| Ugh, get rid of those hubcaps! Yuck! The dirty wheels looked better than those! Makes the tires look silly skinny and like the car is on stilts. Fail.

| I like them too. But I'd still sand and spray bomb the rally wheels all black and put the center caps on them since it's easy. | |

| My $.02... Coming from a guy who has no fear of modification, I say do it if you really want that mod. the stuff that requires the nail biting decision your trying to make is what brings cars to "next level" status..... besides how much would it really cost to have just a bumper skin painted if you decided to swap it back, | |

| Or you could become OC (D) and remove & save that purdy freshly painted cover, add another with holes to see if you like the look
I dont recommend this (embracing OCD) because you NEVER get anything done this way.
Pretty much what Indy said.
Good luck making a decision...

Holes are already in the cover Separate holes. You have to make two 3" holes on either side of the license plate. I mean they're "only" 3"x1/2" but still... - Ironfistdog wrote:

Brian and I were talking last night. He told me to do the same thing. Dave has a Caprice bumper I'm going to pick up to do just that. If I don't like it, I'll go buy a quart of single stage and shoot it myself in the spring. - sdstick wrote:

I *think* im going to try it, if I dont like it, I'll swap bumpers. Or, put fog lights where the holes are. | |

| Nothing big to report. Gave it a bath today. Man it's still weird to wash and car and actually see glossy paint when it's done. New(er) rear end going in next weekend. Ditto for swaybar and trailer hitch. - boojum wrote:

| Bump Figured I'd give this an update. Car hasn't changed since my last post. Been busy with lots of stuffs. But I figured, since the exterior is done.. or almost. It's time to finish the interior. Hopefully I can get most of this done before the Florida wagon fest. My ideas so far: -Suede headliner. Got a sample from an upholstery company, its a very nice product, foam backed and the color is a pretty good match -Install blazer overhead -May ditch the grey Roadie seats for repadded/upholstered 9C1 buckets. Thinking either a single color button tuck or a two tone with a grey houndstooth pattern. -Got new front and rear speakers coming for Christmas -New carpet come spring. This one has had it. -Build new floor ducts for the HVAC system into the Azera console. This has been on the todo list for awhile now, but its getting due. Also, I've also decided on a "theme" for the car. Crovo kinda put the idea in my head when he said my car had a Mad Max vibe. Long story short, its going to be something along the lines of a pseudo-1A2/Mad Max thing. I want to drop the nose, get those smoke one piece headlights, install the setina bar, and I'm going to run the firehawks with the chrome 454 SS rims. May also go really crazy and buy that custom grill from street trends that modifies the headlight shape. | |

| Wagon is going in for a two month nap tonight. It'll be parked next to 2 Darts, a Duster and a 56 Ford panel. While it's inside I'm going to try and get as much done as possible without the car so I can have it all set to install before Daytona -Suede headliner -1500 Pickup overhead, saw this at work the other day. Has all the cubbies and lighting as the Blazer but no LCD display. Might try that instead -Get the supplies to do the front speakers -Twilight sentinel harness Also, my quest for correct 9C1 bumper guards has been successful. I found out the company that made them. They're still in business and they currently make them for the Crown Vic. Going to see if they can make me a Caprice set. The company is in NYC and makes all the NYPD push bars. If I can get a set from them, I'm going to ditch the Setina, so if any of the 9C1 guys want it, lemme know! | |
