BADASS/ECIRS Drag Day - May 21

I'd love to say Ill be there, 2 months should be enough time to finish my airride and toss in an opti. lol

Anyone awake in here For those who don't make this date maybe we can do a friday night test session. The Sat that is scheduled has a LOT of cars racing.. I don't see getting many runs in at all. Just food for thought

We are on their calendar and have the Impala Racing series coming, so this is ON! And I would really appreciate some more local participation this year. Let's make this one the biggest yet!

And I will have t-shirts and stickers available at the event this year! 15 bucks a tee and $3 each for the stickers or 2 for $5.

I can't wait!

I was gonna take my Impala down the track there to be funny (considering it can't even do a burnout due to the highway gearing) but that ain't happening with all the BS they make you go through now. No way I'd pass, the pan gaskets seep and stuff like that...
They even failed my buddy the other day over his helmet being out of date or something. Helmet was fine!

You should be all set with Street Radials, you should'nt need a loop till the 12's, or if your running full-on slicks (they usually ask, but never look anyway).
I have seen a few people not get to run on street nights because their drag-radials did'nt have enough tread though.

Even if I'm working nights, I will make the trek. Just won't get much sleep.

We'll see how it goes with work, supposed to start the 18th, but I have a rather unconventional job and it could be later than that...but we'll see.

Well I got the motivation to drop the trans pan and change the fluid, as well as mod the 2nd accumulator so I can sqeeze a few more tenths outta the blue beast on the 1-2 shift next weekend...getting pumped

I prob won't come this year. I still don't have a proper transmission in my black caprice. My 9c1 is pretty slow and I just installed a few hundred pounds of car audio in it.

So the box of swag showed up today! So I will have PLENTY to go around at the race!



The T-shirts have a large cross on the front and "Badass of Ne.net" across the shoulders on the back.

I have 6 white, 4 black, 2 pink, 1 red, 1 blue, and 1 green. All are XL for the intitial order, just to cover the bases and get the stuff out there! You can custom order whatever you like. $15 a piece for these.

I also have 5 airdam stickers, 1 black, 1 grey, 1 white, 1 silver, and one chrome. $10 each.

And I also have 2 beer mugs, and 2 beer glasses. $10 a pair.

Last but not least, I have a buttload or white or silver cross decals, and a bunch of white or silver "badassofne.net" text stickers. $3 each, or 2 for $5.

Well since the car is not done it won't be at the drag day. That and I work till noon.

However if this goes on past 2pm I'd still like to swing over.

If anyone needs parts let me know, I'll see what I still have on the shelves...stock is getting low, it's time for another parts car.

The ECIRS guys are trying to get me to change the date because so many are long-haulers and aren't going to make the trip with the forcast being that bad.

Keep an eye on this thread. I will talk to the track tomorrow.

But as it looks now, this thing is AWN for Saturday. The track's schedule looks too packed for the rest of the year to accommodate us anytime else.

How many dropped from the south?

8 or 10, between the iffy weather or car/tow vehicle issues...
