| So the transmission in my van went to crap. I had a 7" flip face TV in there. I needed a cd player in the Roadmaster so I decided to put the tv in there. I ran into a problem. The dash over hangs too much. So, I swapped the climate control with the radio. I had to cut a little bit of plastic behind the dash to get the CC wire harness to reach up top. I wrapped some socks around the climate to hold it center and when I put the dash face on it hold it nice and tight. The radio is also held in by the dash face. Everything is secure and it looks great. I do realize it covers the lights under the CC but I'm not too worried about that. Before  After   | |

| Note to self: Add socks to my toolbox  You REALLY didnt need to share THAT method...  ....I wrapped the climate controls to hold it in the center.... ....See what I mean. | Hey it was some quick engineering lol. I could go back in and use some metal brackets and some screws to hold it down. | |

| ...... ah man, i've stuffed a sock or two into a lot of vehicles i slapped a throw away cd player in. works great for beater cars .
.......... in dash mounting kit: $20 bucks..... used sock ( not from the bottom of the hamper) : free......... | |

Looks sauceome! LOL, this is just a nasty way to perform such a clean radio install. In the cougar I just jammed the wire harness under the CD player to keep it from bouncing around. | |
