southern 96 BBB SS for sale....still here

Well we have to let go a member of the family. And it was best decided it be a car
So here it is. We bought this car used in Mississippi, but apparently she came from Texas. We drove her a couple months the first winter and then I got my blazer. So she has been parked through the Maine winters. We have not seen any rust. She has about 150000 miles. Overall stock Impala. She needs some mechanical work.

The good:

• Rust free Texas car
  
• Blue bow tie on the grill
  
• 9C1 coolant hoses (all of them: upper and lower radiator, to and from heater core, and thottle body hose)
  
• Throttle body bypass mod
  
• In-dash cassette and trunk mounted 12-disk CD changer
  
• Monte Carlo steering wheel with radio controls
  
• Blazer overhead console with temperature/compass display, maplights, and storage comparments
  
• Optima red top battery
  
• Rear seat floor ducts from a Fleetwood. These direct the heat to the rear seat floor area. THESE ARE DISCONTINUED.
  
• Stock (quiet) exhaust with no leaks
  
• Expired Maine inspection sticker
  
• Currently unregistered
  

The bad:

• Slight stumble at idle (but still runs okay and gets 20mpg) Fixed
  
• Significant A/C leak (During one of the mod days at Crovo's house, we took this car down. It was hot that day so I got a can of 134a to make the ride home bearable. 24hours later, it was completely discharged again)
  
• Back window still is tinted (approx 35%), I removed the tint on the door glass because the LR window was scratched and purple. If I re-tinted it, it would not match the rest.
  
• Needs a driver's side (upper?) ball joint
  
• Will need new tires.

I'm surprised it hasn't sold yet. Been about 2 years. I see the steering wheel was changed and the idling/hesitation issue was resolved?

$5500? Little high on the price, 96slowSS had his car for $5k with a beautiful paint job, good tires, working Ball joints, and ton of bolt on performance mods....... Just sayin.....probably a reason it hasn't sold in 2 yrs
