| I posted this car on a whim in the for sale section already a while back. It's still here and has to go, so we're going to start chipping away at it to sell off some parts, and likely wind up junking the shell/drivetrain for what we can get for it. Trying to clean up the yard here. I'm definitely going to be pulling the Euro-style header panel to sell that, as well as the tails, radiator, ECM, the 'Vette style sport mirrors, and some other stuff probably later in the week or the weekend when it gets warm out. I MIGHT take the single exhaust off the car since it's basically brand new, but I'm not crazy about lying on my back under this thing, esp. since our driveway is like a gravel abandoned roadway right now. Has nice door panels, power seats, etc. If anyone needs anything for one of these cars, let me know. I have some of the stuff on CL already but I'd give priority to people on here if you need the parts. I don't have any air tools or a lift or anything like that here to do major surgery on this car, and my dad probably wouldn't be too crazy about anyone hanging around with an engine hoist in his driveway either trying to pull the drivetrain or whatever (it's a 305 anyway) He's already pissed enough for it having set here since last summer, further making our yard look like the Kuwaiti "Highway of Death" from the 1991 Desert Storm with dead Chevy products everywhere, and I want it to be the F- gone so I can park my Blazer in it's spot... | |

| I'm looking for a steering column with intermittent wipers and no cruise. Would you car happen to have such a part? | |

The steering column has the multifunction stalk with cruise and intermittent wipers in the same unit, but the stalk itself needs to be replaced on it because the end piece on the stalk fell off...heh The column itself is a burgundy color

I was thinking the same thing, but I know it would be years of storage before I ever did use it...

| Just keep me posted it's no big deal...still have a few bolts to go on the nose The nose is excellent, as is the filler on the bottom, but the grille itself needs to be painted because the chrome looks a little dull IMO. | |

| I'm mainly looking for the column just to switch over to intermittent wipers. So I'll keep looking for a complete ready to use set-up.
If the doors are the same style as mine then I'd snag the front drivers door from you in a second. I'm pretty sure they are slightly different though based on my research. The only other part I'd be interested in is the driveshaft and only if the car has the 200-4r and an 8.5" rear.

I'll take a look at the door, the car is rusty so I don't know if there's bad news hiding behind the lower door trim on it. The car is a 2004R as far as I know, I don't know what rear end it has but the car is pretty civilian in nature FWIW, probably some sort of base model type, I don't think it's posi either, I'll have to look at the tag. I just got the whole front bumper off, it's solid with no rot so that's available- the bumpers on this car are actually really nice, the rub strips are crappy but whatever, that's what bumper bolts are for. I had to remove it to get the header and fillers out. I wish I had just done that in the first place before I started taking the header panel apart...hahaha. What a PITA this is, this car is a lot rustier than I'd imagined. I need to get some air tools for this crap!

| So that was fun...I have those off, the harness for the lights ready to cut from the car, the radiator out, and I'm working on the tail panel. Right now I'm trying to get the power mirrors, I'm fighting with those door pull straps on the inner door panels, I believe you need to remove those to get the door panels off (I think there are bolts behind the caps), but I can't get the caps off and I don't want to ruin them! | |

| You need to pry out the caps with a flathead screwdriver or similar tool. Then they'll be 2 long screws under each cap that must be removed. Plus you need to pull the window cranks if it's not power windows. Also unscrew and remove the door locks. | |

| Thanks for the tip- I found out the caps were only held on with like snaps you would find on a jacket or something..however the pull straps are held on with these pretty diesel looking rivets...
I removed the rear bumper and almost have the whole taillight panel off...I may just stop at that and call it quits, time is money!

| Header and tail panels have been sold, I'm not sure any of the other parts I'm taking off will be of any use to anyone here, but let me know. | |
