Does anyone know if the 94-96's b-body frames have the extra motor mount holes drilled out like the 80's Caprices did? I know the boxies could accept a few different mounts and I don't know if they continued that trend with the newer frames.

I just checked on '95 9C1. No extra holes, unless they are hidden under the stock mounts.

That's what I figured. Since they only came with the gen2 there would be no need for any extra provisions. Oh well

On a related note. Does anyone know what chassis parts swap between the '91+ and the pre-91 b-bodies. Specifically what suspension parts would transfer from a '95 Caprice to say a '90 Fleetwood?

From what I gather everything on the chassis is interchangeable 77-96.

Suspension mounts are the same 1977-96 as is 98% of the frame. Only a notch in a crossmember for a a/c in the LTx cars and the trany crossmember is the only changes I am aware of. I know that where holes were placed changed over the years. I also think, the wagon frams and sedan frames are the same up to 1990. The 1991-96 wagon got a slightly different frame, and the fleetwood got streched 6 inches in 93.

Good to know. I'd like to think the parts I've been stockpiling will still work on the next car I get.
