PostSubject: Selling the Roady - go fast mods - $2400   Sun Aug 23, 2009 3:49 pm

$1500

Up for sale is my 1996 light adriatic blue Roadmaster sedan. It currently has 116k miles on it and runs great. I had plans to make it a low 13 second car over time. Sorry there are no pics right now except for the one I have in my sig. Here's a list of mods-

-EGR and AIR delete

-K&N FIPK

-Uncoated Afterburner headers followed by pypes x pipe with dynomax mufflers (the car is at the shop having the x pipe, mufflers, and OTA pipes fabbed up as you read this). After the headers it is all 2.5 inches and has no cats.

-4.11 gears installed less than 2000 miles ago

-Edge 3000 (NOT INSTALLED, BUT COMES WITH THE CAR)

-PCMPerformance tune (91 octane, rear 02 sensor delete, EGR and AIR delete)

-Stock impala wheels wrapped in Kuhmo Ecsta ASXs with 8,000 miles on them.

-8000K HIDs

Maintenance

New Wagner pads
New lifetime warranty drilled and slotted rotors
New drum shoes
New Bosch plugs
Two new 02 sensors
Tranny fluid and filter change 2000 miles ago
Two new Moog lower ball joints 5000 miles ago with alignment
Oil changes every 3000 miles

The Bad

-Not the prettiest RMS out there, has it's share of scratches and dings on the exterior.
-Both passenger side windows need new rollers, which I can supply.
-No AC as I had to disconnect one of the lines to get the Afterburners in
-Small oil leak (not a big deal, just there.)

The Good

-Drives great and pulls hard just like it should
-In awesome condition for a Maine car
-Interior is immaculate with the exception of two woodgrain pieces that popped off.
-Car books for 2600 in fair condition

EXTRAS

I have an Edge 3000 stall converter that I will throw in with the sale, as well as 2 stainless 2.25 Borla mufflers.

The bottom line is this is no pristine condition Impala SS, but if you are looking for a car to make a fast daily driver, this could be it. With 4.11s and the Edge 3000 installed, it should be good for low 14s. Given the other mods (headers, cai, exhaust) I would say this car is capable of high 13s. Cam/RR/beehives and you are looking at a low 13/high 12 second car. Again, this has been my plan for a while but I am hunting for a LS1/6 speed Camaro or 04-06 GTO.

If you have any questions, you can reach my on my cell at 207-357-1312 anytime day or night. Thanks for looking,

$2400 OBO - I am definitely open to offers - try me.

Hmmmm.... First set of 4.11's I've ever seen for the 10 bolt. Odd.

I stand corrected.
