| I DID!!!  So most of you know i work around trains. So yesterday we are moving this work train dwn the tracks, and suddenly it jus stops.So me being the closest has to go down to bug(jump) the train with these jumpers. So I was trained to put the jumper first on the dead shoe and then the third rail(600 volts of magnificant power). As soon as i put that jumper on the shoe a BIG ASS spark( atleast 12ft high) blinds me,hair stands up, and I jump back( not knowing if there was another third rail behind me) Aand was like WHEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW.. Come to figure the train didnt need to be bugged the power was just out because the circuit box was open. So The train WAS FULLY POWERED because th e third rail is always LIVE  | |

| rich. you being closest to door meant you would have been the first to go bye bye. im glad your ok. i really am. but that kind of not knowing exactly why it stopped. kills people. buy a lottery ticket. i always taught safety first. when the power plant blew up in salem. nov2007. one of the people killed was my best friend phil robinson. he was the man that drove my roadmaster from woburn mass to so. portland. i dont want to lose another friend. be careful rich. | |

jk glad you got lucky, now go find out how to keep from getting cooked NEXT TIME
