| I plan on commissioning someone to produce these kits with Bill Harper's (Navy Lifer of ISSF) blessing since he is no longer pursuing these kits . I would like to know who would be interested in purchasing a kit or 2 or 3? Bill was charging like $29 shipped I think off the top of my head? We could pool together, the more orders we have, the cheaper It's going to be. I should be hearing from BIll on specifics soon, I hope. Thank you, Tom Bordeau | |

Tom Bordeau I'd buy a few sets to have in my hoard, you never know how many B-body projects I'll have in the future.

| I have one set left to use on my SS if needed...I'd be in for at least one if it gets production going again, those things are a godsend, it's too bad Bill H. isn't making them! | |

| I'd pick up a set or 2 for good measure...although, my wagons are the only cars without
I did give Bill some feedback once...regarding design...call me before you go into production

| Wow. Didn't know he isn't going to sell them anymore. Was just talking to him recently and ordered a set a few months ago as well.
I think I'd be in for 2 sets.

| I have always wondered why anyone wanted to buy these,..
I can't think of a car that I,ve kept long enough to actually put two pairs of shocks on the rear,..
I remove the spring ,.. tighten up the nuts to bust the old bolts off ,. then use two new bolts and nuts and split washers,. you drop the bolts down thru, hold the shock in one hand,. twist it sideways and do the first nut, (the shock twisted stops the bolt from rotating,. leave the shock loose and do the 2nd one,. rotate the shock hard with one hand to squeeze the bolts and stop them from rotating,.and tighten up with ratchet and extension in other hand,.
Price of two stainless bolts is cheaper than the kit doodad,.
You guys all change your shocks quite often??

| Good points Nick. I am installing new shocks in my 9C1 so it made sense to upgrade . I hear you when It comes to cost. We are (Steve) going to simplify the process to keep the cost way down. Plans are to use a threaded SS Rod and bend as necessary. I asked Steve to just send me the bent threaded rod and I can purchase my own nuts as needed. We'll get feedback on the nut option as we go. | |

This is where i can't seem to grasp the "upgrade" The amount of time i would spend to install the "upgrade" would actually be adding time to the whole job,. These doodads,.(i have a set that bill sent me for evaluation about 10 yrs ago) look great,.but in my opinion i have always considered them a peer pressure mod, that folks seem to think they need,.like quite a lot of add ons and mods that people like to say they have done to their cars,. Do what you want , you're gonna anyway,.. (i,ve been told to translate this into "it's a free country etc,.") I have also wondered,. after performing a dukes of hazzard type maneuver or maybe carrying something exceptionally heavy and hitting an exceptionally deep pothole,... if the shock would bottom out and compromise the doodad, but i have never tested this, even with a dukes of hazzard paint schemed wagon,..
