Club History ?????

Is there any thing on the forum that tells the clubs history to date? Due to complications from STML , I think I recall first hearing about the club in 2006, but not sure.

When did it officially become a club? Who would be considered founding members? When was the first round up? Was it a club off line first , and more of a local thing? Did you branch of from other groups?

I think Mike Od, and Crovo started it back in 2003 over coffee, but I am not sure.

Yeah, there was a few of us who came up with the idea after going to NED one night at the BK Lounge in Epping NH. I put together a bunch of possible names and we all kind of voted on it. Came up with an idea for a logo, and had one of the guys put it together. Then we had our first club cookout at our house that summer. I think it was in 02. Somehow, I ended up as president, even though there was no true hierarchy or dues or anything.

It's been magic ever since.

A club that advertises a CAR SLUT as president doesnt have any false airs about it...

I didnt get in until round 2. Bill M was doing all the work & Crovo was a BADASS prima donna by then.

All kidding aside....thanks to both (or all) of you. I really enjoy the club.

We've got to do more stuffs as a club. Maybe some more shows together. Certainly more mod days.

I've already suggested we could do something here in Wareham, MA.

I'm in for a mod day! I'll have one at the new house in the spring. If they ever let us buy the place... Friggin short sales.

I hear ya! We bought this house on a foreclosure as a 203k construction loan, took 9 months (yes NINE) to finally sign papers and record.

There's plenty of parking at the shoppe's at blackstone valley and the Auburn Mall in central MA. Since I moved all that stuff is now over an hour away. But seriously there's NOTHING out my way at the new place,

2002-2003 that's crazy the club goes back that far! Had no idea!
An actual timeline with events posted on it would be AWESOME. like major events and/or funny things that happen here.
Just as long as we dont post a line everytime crovo buys a new car, cuz instead of this:

I'd like to see more random events too, doesn't have to be anything real major, if anyone has time just meet up and shoot the shyte for a bit or whatever. I'd be down for heading further south if I get the time too...

We should resurrect that idea of an early winter meetup at The Holy Grail...

I remember seeing Crovo's website with the Cadillac YEARS ago, but I didn't know about this forum until shortly before I'd joined it and had no clue the "club" went back that far either. That's pretty cool.

Being a fairly new member I'd be up for a meet some where. I get alternating sunday's off so if its any other day its luck of the dice if I can make it
