| That's pretty sweet!
I like the Tranny X-member notched to perfection. If I was going that low I'd have to do the same. The red caprice ran true duals with the stock cross member so I know I can do that again, they just need to be tucked up tight.
Thanks for sharing Brian!

| No prob Matt. If you run duals, get yourself some tails like what I have. I have yet to see a box with them. | |

| That is AWESOME. And I don't know if you guys read the article pictured, but that bodywork is supposedly from 1982, along with everything else aside from the drivetrain? If so, that is in incredible shape in spite of the blemishes here and there. Looks like the replicated the original upholstery patterns with the new fabric. I like the silver color in there.
Those are some old style BFGs too, see the tread?
That front crossmember has a ton of evidence of the car bottoming out, and appears to have a "tear" in it, that would worry me.
Honestly, I think that car is worth about what they're asking, I don't know if I'd pay that but it truly is awesome to have a vehicle that's been featured in a widely read publication, especially with an article dating back to 25 years ago. Great provenance for sure.

Great provenance for sure. Being that low IS bad. Trust me. It sort of visually pays homage to the NASCAR caprice.

| As you can tell I'm not super into aggressively lowered cars for the most part, I'd like to lower the Caprice or even my Impala, but I don't feel it's worth my time and effort for the end result. But for some reason, I LOVE how the boxies look lowered. I'd like that one if it were a few inches higher even if it helped with the scraping issues, but still, when you look at them lowered you almost don't notice that they've been lowered at first, it just looks right. Although I love those at stock height too... | |

| Lol Matt I'm indifferent too, that's why I'm only dropping like what an inch and a half with impala ss springs. | |

| I just don't want to lower any car I have unless I already have to split things apart to replace ball joints and stuff. I wish the front springs were easier to swap out. I can't do stuff like that myself anyway due to space/time constraints, so I'd have to pay someone. | |

| I'll do it Matt. Use the moog 5662 springs I used. Low, but no so low that it bangs and scrapes everywhere. They were like $56... | |

| Awesome car! Good thing the crossmember is lower than the oil pan. See the scrapes on the coil pockerts in the A-arms, too? lol. | |
